Summary: Just returned from 12 days at Villa Romita - we had a brilliant family time in a stunning villa. The photos are ‘true’ - no long lenses, in fact the verandah is bigger than we expected and the views are out of this world! Fantastic communication with Monica - we first booked to go in 2020 and had to cancel because of Covid (with full refund) so it was fabulous to finally visit there. We all enjoyed the theatre room - my nephew took his Nintendo Switch with him so lots of games were played - even my 83 year old Dad joined in. We all enjoyed the pool and the boys were on the treadmill most days. Monica told us a week before that the jacuzzi was out of order - again great communication so we weren’t disappointed when we got there. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, pans, etc and the sofas were so comfortable it was difficult not to doze off on them! The views from the balcony, verandah and picture windows were absolutely stunning in daytime and at night and we saw a few ‘electric’ storms which was so exciting. We took trips to Pompeii and Rome and also to Lake Albano where you can hire sun beds and umbrellas - and the lake is warm to swim in. There are plenty of restaurants close by too - although we did drive to them. But we did take a few walks - up the mountain and down into the town. And I can’t leave out the housekeeper who was really helpful too and has Google Translate down to a fine art. Thank you Monica and Valentino - one of the most memorable holidays we’ve ever had.

Summary: My family and I rented this villa for a week while visiting family nearby and had a wonderful experience! The villa had plenty of room to accommodate 8 adults plus 6 children. The caregiver who lives in the home was very kind, helpful and also assisted with laundry. We were worried about not having an A/C in every room but since it is located in the mountains it actually got chilly at night and was perfect. The views are impeccable and the home is very nicely decorated and clean. The only negative comments would be that the driveway leading to the home is very long, it would take us a good 2 minutes driving so it is definitely not in walking distance to anything - you must have a car available. Also, the back bottom deck was not safe for children, so we weren't able to utilize that area. Overall I would I highly recommend this to anyone visiting!

Summary: Elena, the owner, was very fast to reply to our last-minute booking and always able to provide any suggestions or tips if we needed. We actually were staying somewhere nearby but it none of us felt comfortable in the original place we booked. We searched for a new place and found this amazing gem! The layout of the house and its furnishings definitely suited our tastes! We were a family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children ages 12, 11, 6, and 3.5). The space was fantastic for all of us, enough room to lounge around. The older two kids loved watching movies in the Movie room downstairs. PlayStation and the Wii were used a few times as well - this house is not lacking in flatscreens! The kitchen was used every-day - big enough for several of us to prep and cook our lunches and/or dinners. The living room dining table fit us all without problem. Every morning we would sit outside and enjoy our coffee and take-in the wonderful views. The care-taker was very friendly and accommodating but kept to himself to ensure we had our family time without interruption. But we honestly didn't mind having him around! The house is well equipped with just about anything/everything you need - even children's toys! The master-bedroom views, especially at night, are wonderful - it is a shame that is the only room in house that has air-condition but it doesn't get too hot in the higher elevation of Rocca di Papa so it was fine for us. Almost every bedroom had a toilet bath/shower which was very convenient and appreciated by all. We were sad to leave but looking forward to returning to this villa. Thank you Villa Romita for helping us create a very memorable family trip!

Summary: The villa is awesome!!! We all love the scene from the veranda which is breath taking.. The location is a bit remote and not easily located by the sat navigation but manage to locate the villa with proper direction of your wonderful and caring staff. The villa is beautiful and has a balance mixture for the taste of tired adults and energetic teenagers. Our kids love the place and don't want to leave , they love your gadgets and prefer to stay at the villa rather than tour around Rome with their boring parents. This villa is a perfect place to unwind and relax with your teenage kids. Defenitely we will come back to this villa on our next holiday in Rome.. Two thumbs up!!!!
