This apartment with terrace is a blend between modernity and comfort, made to
relax in the city center
Cosy, authentic and genuine, our Garden House apartment in Barcelona,
is located in the modernist Catalan neighbourhood of the Eixample right
distric and just a stroll away from Gaudi famous spot: La Sagrada
Família. A convenient place to stay if you want to explore the city and
its wonders.
85 m2 plus the luxury of a 85 m2 private terrace accesible from the living
room wide glass doors
The terrace is worth an special mention. If you want a fresh and
chilled-out place, this is the right spot to take a nap, sunbathe
or have breakfast in the fresh morning air under the canopy. . This
will be a meeting point any time of the day. On weekends, you can
spend almost all of your time there, al fresco. The apartment is
located in a quiet residential building, where respect for the
well-being and rest of all our neighbours is our utmost priority.
By agreement of our homeowner's association, the terrace must not
be accessed during quiet hours. Therefore, the terrace is
off-limits from 10pm - 8am
To that effect our preferred guests in this apartment are families with
children, and seniors.
The bright and full of natural light living & dining areas, are laid
out in two distinctive atmospheres. The comfortable living with a
large 50" plasma TV, and the lovely "countryside style" dining area
with a wooden antique table, that opens to host up to six fellow
diners.
Three charming bedrooms
Two with queen beds and large wardrobes. Whereas the master bedroom
also offers a working space, the other one boasts a queen bed plus
a tea table space. The third bedroom, has a romantic touch with two
single beds and also a large wooden wardrobe. All bedrooms have
individually controlled aircon units and face the terrace. Ceramic
flooring and two modern designer bathrooms, round out the bedroom
areas.
Usually or eventually, you would love to cook your own meals... a fully
equiped kitchen, with all sorts of gadgets, sleek cabinetry and
stainless steel apliances, has been displayed for your enjoyment.
It is important to stay in contact with friends, family and work, and
all of this can be done by using our great fiber optic internet
connection, faster than any other in the market.
The surroundings of the Garden House
Our Garden House is located in the Eixample, which translates as
"extension" in recognition of its status as the newer part of the city,
is a large area north of Plaça Catalunya spreading left and right of
Passeig de Gracia. Nowadays Eixample is famous for being home to the
majority of Barcelona's art nouveau masterpieces, and a high-class
residential and shopping area.
The right side of the Eixample is the older part and therefore has more
of the impressive architecture, as the amazing La Sagrada Familia, less
than a 10 minute walk from our Graden House but really there is not a
huge difference between the two sides. It is a safe and residential
part of the city yet there is also a vibrant nightlife and a thriving
café culture. Eixample is a beautiful barrio to wander round, take in
the glorious architecture and people-watch from one of the many terrace
cafes. However the area is very central and most other parts of the
city are within walking distance.

Summary: \Property was perfect for our stay. Location was great. It was walkable to many sites for visitors. Many cafés and markets close by. Taxis were not a problem either, as we were a block from the bus station. The owners were very responsive to our needs.

Summary: We were supposed to get this place for four nights, but we got only two nights there due to unforeseen circumstances. It had been renovated and was very clean. We liked the place very much, and the check-in was pretty seamless. The patio was lovely and quiet. We found that the shower floors were designed with very little slope, so they leaked. It would be wise to check the floor during your shower. We also found that we could have used more cups and glasses. And remember that housing is much smaller than in North America. The beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms were large. Communication with Jaume was excellent, and it helped us to have a great time in Barcelona.

Summary: Maria met us out front and was wonderful, got us in and explained everything we needed to know about the place. The only down side was our bedding. Each bed had sheets with stains of some sort on them. And one pillowcase that had smears of some sort as well. It was as if the bedding wasn't changed, or if it was, they did not check for such things. I sent photos to Maria and she had housekeeping come over while we were out to remove all bedding and put new bedding on all the beds, which was appreciated. But disappointing that had happened in the first place. Other than that, the apartment was great and we did enjoy our stay.

Summary: Location and terrace are best features here and could make your trip. Beds, linens and bathroom are not very good but could be improved with little effort. Bedspread was too small and stained multiple places in both rooms. Beds are hard as a rocks. Bathroom has no hooks for towels or clothes. Furniture is nice and kitchen has all that is needed. Check in was very accommodating. A few tweaks would make this place way more worth the money.

Summary: After arriving in Barcelona we made contact with Anna who was not only at the accommodation to greet us but also helped when we got a little mixed up on the metro. The accomodation was clean, spacious and well equipped. Excalty as described. We had a an excellent stay, thank you.

Summary: This location is OUTSTANDING. We easily walked to every Barcelona attraction. And, yet the apartment was very quiet and spacious. We used the sizeable kitchen and dining area for breakfasts and late night suppers - there was plenty of space for us. The bedroom/bathroom layout was perfect for 2 couples - plenty of privacy. We loved having the washing machine since we were there for 8 days. The check-in was super easy! Wifi worked great and was strong. Highly recommend this location.

Summary: We went to visit my daughter in Barcelona during her study abroad program and stayed here. It was terrific- especially the outdoor space! The location is safe , central, and easy to sightsee from! One very small issue was the one shower that spilled over onto bathroom floor, so additional towels / mop etc. was necessary. Not enough of an issue to not come back! Highly recommend!!

Summary: Just finished our stay in Barcelona and couldn’t be happier with the location of this place. Stayed with 6 college kids for spring break and we had a blast. 15 min walk to las Ramblas for shopping, and less than 30 min walk to la sagrada. The place was clean and the check in process was wonderful. The outside is terrace is amazing!!! We were given 2 room keys, which ended up being plenty. Only complaint is one of the showers leaks quite a bit. Besides that, would absolutely stay here again!
