Positive: The location is excellent, we can walk to most of the sites or easily have access to metro or bus. There’s restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There’s also a secured parking lot at the basement, but need to reserve and pay in advance. The apartment is spacious. There are two bathrooms/showers so convenient when you are a big family.

Negative: Since the apartment is located on the Granvia, the two rooms facing the street are very noisy dur to vehicles until at least 1-2am. We stayed 4 nights from Sun to Thu. If you are light sleeper, make sure to bring earplugs or sleep in the 3rd room facing inner terrace. 2nd shower at the back is very narrow, it’s difficult to not wet the floor outside of the shower even if you are very very careful. So can be a bit inconvenient to dry the floor after each shower. The kitchen equipments are quite basic, old, not all in good shape, few like youth hostel shared facilities and not great for families. Last negative point I found is the checkin process which is quite heavy and last minute. It’s the first time I got asked to make an actual payment of €1000 deposit since 15+ years I am using booking.com (not just block the sum via credit card). Although full amount has been refunded at checkout, it still makes an unpleasant experience, especially the entire apartment is not new and luxury at all. So we have to take pictures and videos for all the damages spotted upon checking.

Positive: Came to Barcelona for one stop of our honeymoon, stayed here with my family. True to the pictures, although maybe a bit more run down. Great location, walking distance from Sagrada Familia and around the corner from a climbing gym. Spacious, quiet, powerful AC. The TVs had Apple Air Play so we could show others our wedding pictures on the big screen. Convenient parking. Great host, easy check in and check out.

Positive: Sergio was great and sent us several suggestions for things to do in the local area. Nothing was too much trouble even when our flight was delayed! Would definitely use again, bean to cup coffee machine was a bonus ☺️

Negative: We couldn't figure out how to raise the shutters fully, wasn't a major problem as we didn't spend much time in the apartment.

Positive: We loved the size of the apartment for our group of 4 singles. Made use of the sofa bed. We used the washing machine and dryer which was very useful. (Could do with some instructions though) The location was good for cafes and restaurants. Sergio was very responsive to queries we had.

Negative: Had a problem with the shower drain. The water overflowed. The Property Manager responded quickly and the housekeeper cleaned up abd fixed the shower drain.
