Summary: The property was in great condition, super comfortable, and well-stocked. The property was clean and easy to enjoy with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a large group. The beds were comfy, the water pressure was great & the kitchen was gorgeous and had everything you need to cook for a big group. This house was a beautiful escape. Absolutely in love!

Summary: Beautiful house. We had a great time! The house sat in an area where it provided beautiful views of the lake. The views are beautiful to wake up to with the sunrise over the lake. The house is located in a very private cove but still with big water views. The towns nearby have plenty of places to eat and have adventures of the lake surroundings. Over all a great experience!!

Summary: The house and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location close enough to shopping and restaurants but on an amazing point to see big water. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock, kayaking and paddleboarding, beautiful sunsets, and nice walks around the neighborhood. Amazing views! I can't adequately describe how fantastic this host is, with great communication from booking to check-out and beyond. The home and kitchen are well-furnished and comfortable, and equipped with everything we could have needed. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Summary: We needed a big place to host family from several different states coming in town for our son's event. From the moment we booked this house, Melissa was so responsive and answered any questions we had. Most of our family had never been to this lake and they could not believe this house! It is so amazing. The pictures in the description are exactly what it looks like...gorgeous and clean! There was a big kitchen, with refrigerator and ice machine that was so helpful for all the food, drinks, etc. we brought. The kitchen was fully stocked with new pots and pans, utensils, etc. (we've rented a lot of beach/lake houses and the pots/pans/utensils are never new). The house came with outdoor seating areas and a fire pit bigger than you've ever seen! We definitely used it and everyone had a blast! It was the perfect place for a big group of people. We will definitely rent this place again and again. it's a 10/10!

Summary: Right on the lake, the view you can not beat, so beautiful. We spent hours just sitting on the huge patio. The house had everything we needed, but some of the extra things we did need was only a 5 min drive to the store! Plenty of room for our family of 6, so spacious and so clean! So so clean! And the house was toddler friendly! He loved the huge living room TV, watching movies on that was so fun for him! We used the washer and dryer for multiple loads - worked wonderfully. The lake was a blast, we rented jet skis and a pontoon from one of Melissa's recommended marinas. Melissa was GREAT to work with, answered all our questions! Super quick to respond! This was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve done, and the house was perfect for that! The pictures just don’t do this house justice. We were so sad to leave but we will absolutely be back!

Summary: Thank you for opening your home to us. The house is perfectly located right on the lake, 15 mins to Alexander City, and has great restaurants and a grocery store within 5 mins. Each room is more beautiful than the next. The gorgeous living room stares out onto the lake. The bedrooms are all very nice with amazing beds. We loved the giant fire pit and the steam shower! The host is so thoughtful. Super responsive throughout the trip. They even proactively reached out and let us know we could check in early. The house is stocked! Anything you need to cook with and any spices are waiting for you there. We were even welcomed with a table full of snacks! Can’t get over how clean, cozy, and beautiful this home is. We visited with three couples and a 7th friend. Everyone was very comfortable throughout the stay. We can’t wait to be back!

Summary: We had a wonderful week at Amber Skies! The view and surroundings are even more stunning than the pictures represent. Having rented a boat and toured around Lake Martin while we were there, we can definitely confirm that Melissa’s place is one of the most picturesque and private spots on the lake. The home has a very cozy feeling as if you’re staying in your family’s own lakeside retreat. We had so much fun on the kayaks and paddle board in the very calm and quiet cove. And Melissa was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Summary: We had amazing stay! It was the best short term rental experience we have ever had. The dock is massive with space to lounge, snack, fish and play. The location is beautiful tucked away and so peaceful. The home is a wonderful layout with a master in the main floor. The home is gorgeous and the details are luxurious from Kate Spade throws to Rachael Ray cookware. The appliances are top notch, including the massive washer and dryer. The thing that stood out to us the most though was the hospitality. The host was detailed oriented with a wonderful guide to answer any questions you have, clear communication and easy to reach with any needs. They let us know about local happenings and restaurants as well as closest grocery stores. Everything was perfectly set up at our arrival and they anticipated our needs greater then any other rental we have ever stayed. We plan to make this an annual trip!

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We were a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. (One toddler and one infant) All the rooms were clean, and comfortable and also spaced out so we all had some space to ourselves. The entire home was so beautiful and family friendly. Everyone enjoyed the outside sitting areas and fire pit, including the kiddos! Basically spent all day and evenings outside and by the water, it was so nice! When it gets dark it only gets better!! Truly had one of the best vacations with our friends. Thank you so very much!!
