3 Bedroom House in Jacksons' Gap

This 3br/2ba, 1800 sq.ft., Lake home is newly renovated with hardwood floors, beautiful pine ceilings, granite counter tops and much more for a modern rustic feel. This cabin is a great family fun house, with something for everyone. It has a Newly added Bonus room equipped with two TVs, two Sofas with queen memory foam pullout sleepers and a Foosball table. The home also features a huge deck for family grilling, watching the kids swim, or relaxing with a glass of wine while enjoying an amazing sunset. The HUGE views from here are like no other. There is also a fire pit on the point for chilly nights with marshmallows and enjoying the fantastic views.
The home sits on a point with over 280ft of water front and faces westward with gorgeous sunset views! That alone is reason enough to visit this family home.
1 GIG Internet service and Smart TV's so you wont miss any of your Netflix favorites or sports via your personal access content providers!
Kitchen is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs and equipped with all stainless steel appliances to help make a delicious family meal. The dining table is perfect for a family dinner while still enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Martin. There also a newly added bar adjoining the living room and kitchen with additional seating for eating. The jetted tub in the private bathroom highlight the master bedroom that has a queen bed for sleeping. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has two twin beds, and guest bathroom has full size tub with shower. The newly added Bonus Room is equipped with a two TVs, two sofas w/ memory foam pullout sleepers, and a Foosball table!
The home is at the end of a single lane dead-end drive, and is challenging to turnaround with a boat trailer. We would recommend either leaving your boat trailer at the public ramp around the corner off Point Windy Drive, or walking down the drive to ensure you are comfortable maneuvering with space available. Your personal boat dock is available to park your boat once you arrive via water!
NOTE: Alabama Power drops Lake Martin's water level from full pool starting in October and begins increasing the water level in late February to mid-March. The change is seven to 10 feet so the water will be out past the dock during most of this time frame. Lake Martin is at full pool roughly from mid-March through early October.

Summary: Really enjoyed Lake Martin with easy access to all the water activities. Spent the days fishing, tubing, and swimming around the dock. Kids loved the quiet cove to swim. House had everything we needed. Look forward to a future stay.

Summary: This was a perfect home for my family of 5. We rented a boat and it was easy to keep it at the dock. We enjoyed jumping off the dock, set up cornhole to play, and had s’mores at the fire pit after being on the boat for the afternoon. Great vacation. Matt was easy to work with and very responsive while booking and throughout.

Summary: We had a blast at Lake Martin! The house was great! Everything was clean. Nicely decorated. Very much enjoyable! The swimming area was great with the concrete steps! The dock was great to tie up the boat and jet skis. The concrete ledge was a life saver while fueling up the jet skis as well!! Great location by land and water! Lots of big water area to play in. And not crowded! My only grumble (I wouldn't call it a complaint) would be that the A/C had a hard time keeping up and cooling the house on hot days. Especially when you have kids coming in and out. The only time it would get below 75 degrees would be in the morning hours. I might would suggest spraying for spiders outside as well. When we got there you could tell that no one had been on the porch or dock for some time. There were spiders and spider webs everywhere!! We went and got some spray and sprayed them and if I had to guess, we probably killed thousands of spiders. Literally. And I completely understand, it's on the water, in the country, there's going to be spiders. The amount that there were was a little shocking though. Thank goodness there were NONE in the house anywhere! Only outside. I felt much better about that and could sleep easy knowing they were confined to outside. Once we sprayed we didn't see but a few after that. Even with the A/C lagging a little and the spiders outside, it didn't damper our trip whatsoever! We still had a wonderful time and will absolutely book again!!

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation on the lake! The property is a great place to stay. Lots of space for the whole family. Having the dock for our boat is a huge plus and the recent upgrades gave us more space to sit in the sun and fish. We will return!

Summary: Property was clean, and provided everything you could need. The views were amazing and the peacefulness of the area helped to rejuvenate us on our short visit. We would love to visit this property again. If there is anything to say, and it is a preference, the king size mattress was uncomfortable for us.
