Amira Whitsundays is an exceptionally spacious property made up of 3 individual private villas which are linked together via outdoor living area's and the pool area to make one large property (main house villa, pool pavilion villa and the ocean view villa) offering up to 6 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms
Amira Whitsundays is a very private holiday home is set amongst the rainforest high on the ridge side of Cannonvale, where you can holiday in seclusion and quiet with sweeping valley and ocean views.
Only two minutes drive to the Whitsunday's largest shopping complex.
Less than five minutes to main street Airlie Beach, nightclubs and Restaurants! If you are looking for somewhere different to have a holiday this property is the one for you. Very Unique very different.
Amira Whitsundays is ideally suited to accommodate large family groups, this privately owned, finely crafted, and uniquely furnished home reflects a palette of serene colours set against rich dark wood trim. Combined with unique furniture, this individually managed luxurious residence reflects a rare serenity reminiscent of a Balinese Resort.

PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING
No booking will be accepted if arrival are on major public holidays. ie if you wish to stay over Christmas you have to arrive pre 25th (same for Easter etc). This allows us to have a fair work/life balance.
This is not a party house. No gatherings/functions area allowed, if you try to have a function at our property your stay will be terminated.
PLEASE NOTE -You must enter 12 PEOPLE or more in the bookings field to have the full 6 bedrooms supplied (The entire property), even if you have 6 or 8 people staying, but all wish their own rooms. Less than this amount you will receive the main house and pool pavilion.

Spacious Loft bedroom with 1 x King Bed, private lounge area with common bathroom Bathroom
Bedroom 2 lower level main house - 1 x Queen Bed, 1 set of Bunks (top and bottom single, bunks are only suitable for children and are not designed or supplied for adult use) joint/shared bathroom with bedroom 3.
Bedroom 3 lower level main house - 1 x Queen Bed, 1 set of Bunks (top single, bottom double, bunks are designed/supplied for children only, they are not for adult use, please take this into consideration when booking our property to ensure the bedding configuration will suit your group)
POOL PAVILION ROOM (BEDROOM 4)
- 1 x King (four poster) Bed and spacious bathroom with shower and free standing bath tub.
OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH 2 LARGE BEDROOMS AND 2 BATHROOMS (BEDROOM 5 AND 6)
Room 1 king bedroom with own bathroom
Room 2 king bedroom and one fold out queen size sofa bed with own bathroom
Extra's 1 x Rollaway available if requested (charges apply)

Christmas/ new year 7 nights. Easter / sept Oct school holidays 5 to 7 nights unless otherwise indicated (for example if only 3 or 4 nights are available then a shorter will be accepted)
Please note if you or someone in your group has mobility issue (ie bad hip etc) our house May not be suitable. Please enquiry and ask for additional details before booking.
Cancellation Policy
bookings taken from the 1st May 2020 - we offer a full Credit, transfer of booking or a refund if your cancellation is due to COVID-19 restrictions (ie government restriction, For example if you live in Vic and not allow to travel to Qld).
Outside of this our policy is the same as it has been for the last 15year, we do not offer a refund on a deposit if you simply change your mind and/or you can’t make the booking, However we are more than happy to transfer your booking to another time free of charge (like for like booking) 30days notice required.

Summary: We had a great time at this house. Beautiful spacious home. It is quite far from airley if that’s where you are wanting to be daily but isn’t too hard B to jump on the public bus.

Summary: Very hard to fault this beautiful property. Ideal for a large family gathering like ours and the hosts could not be more obliging. There were problems with the internet connection but Trent is looking into this. I would highly recommend Amira.

Summary: We spent 5 wonderful days with family and friends in this stunning home. The house and gardens were beautifully decorated and felt like a real tropical getaway. There was so much space for 3 families to spend time together as well as have our own private spaces. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Summary: Summary and photos misleading. Pool 1/4 of size in picture and dirty. Kitchen 1/2 size of picture. Dishwasher stinky required us to clean before use. Cutlery and plates and bowls needed cleaning before use. Ant infestation in pantry cupboard effected some of our purchased food. Property is getting run down and requires maintenance. Some deck floor boards rotted. Had 12 guests for 3 nights and 2 for 1 night- owner not flexible on rate for the first night of stay. Poor furniture placement couldn't view TV's from bed. Poor internet so Netflix etc didn't work. Quality linen, however found long black hair in one bed, we didn't have long black hair. Bathroom off kitchen had smells wafting through kitchen/ main house. I made the booking and payment etc however during our stay had a noise complaint. Owner didn't contact me but rather my husband. Noise shut down immediately however owner left abusive voice messages on husband phone instead of dealing with me. Very disappointed, my name, my money, my reputation but couldn't be contacted by owner, very disrespectful *is it because I'm female? Warning to all who stay do not use deck after 12pm, you will get noise complaints from owner who lives very closely. Driveway one-way steep death trap. Some taxis won't even collect you from the house due to the driveway. After spending $5000 for 4 night stay couldn't wait to check out and go home. Very very disappointed. The owner Trent Walsh doesn't have heart in the property and it shows.

Summary: Very relaxing stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Great outdoor spaces with different areas to gather. 2 fridges. Big oven. We loved the Balinese feel of the house. 3 separate sleeping villas/pavilions which was a fantastic feature. Memorable house to turn 50 with family and friends. Hosts Candi and Trent welcoming and helpful.

Summary: This stunning property makes you feel like you're on holiday in Bali. It's tucked away up in the hills so it's peaceful, calm and relaxing. The ocean views are amazing. There is plenty of space so if you're holidaying with friends or family, everyone has plenty of privacy. I totally recommend this gorgeous property for your next holiday.

Summary: We loved our stay at Amira, it had all the things U need to keep a family group entertained & comfortable. The rooms were beautifully appointed with a Balinese feel that ran throughout the whole property. The grounds were also very tranquil & private. There was a small issue keeping the main house cool & otherwise the sound proofing for people sleeping on the lowest level also in the main house; the timber flooring above meant that footsteps & even talking was disruptive. Overall though we had a great time & felt very comfortable. Thank you to Trent & Candi for providing a great destination for a large family group, happy to recommend this property.

Summary: We absolutely loved this place! So secluded and beautiful! Photos dont do it justice! Perfect for a big family plenty of space big patio for the rain we had and still enjoyed our time, so peaceful! Honestly only downfall was the rooms weren't soundproof, could hear everything in the family rooms because of the patio up stairs & the pool isn't as big as the photo but it still fit most of us. But honestly this will not stop us from coming back! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
