Summary: Liked the villa but was a bit disappointed with the location, the motorway runs behind the villa and you have to walk across a busy road and under an underpass to get to the town. Was asked to pay 65 Euros for towels and linen which I thought was included but having said that I did enjoy my stay.

Summary: The villa was lovely - Maria was a great host and helped us when required The location is ideal for walking into L’Ampolla to enjoy the restaurants - about 10mins to town centre The pool and shaded sitting areas were perfect for us to relax. The air con v efficient ! Would highly recommend the villa

Summary: Spent a relaxing week at Ampolla Villa, ideal for our family of 4, which included 2 teenagers 17 and 15. The villa and pool area were very clean. There was plenty of seating outside and the villa itself was well equipped. We walked in to L'Ampolla everyday, we ate out most nights, there were lots of restaurants to choose from, the seafood was excellent! Within a 1-2hr drive there are lots of places to visit although we were happy to spend most of our time by the pool. We did take a trip out to one of the oyster farms and visited Tortosta (20mins) both on the doorstep and worth doing.

Summary: This was an ideal property for our family, parents, young children and grandparents. So, 4 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space for us all. The house was fully equipped with everything that we needed. The pool was straightforward and cover easy to use. We didn’t have any safety concerns over the children with the pool. Bathrooms were perfect, the outside toilet really useful! Location wise was good for us as we had cars to go out and about. But we walked into town several times - for coffee and ice cream, to the Spar supermarket and also to go out for dinner a couple of times. Kids are reluctant walkers but managed the walk, 12 mins to the Boat club/Spar area. We had to vacate by 9am but flight wasn’t until 5pm. We paid €3 per person and spent the day at the pools in the L’Ampolla Camping resort. There were showers etc. To change for the flight home. All in all, a great property for our needs. Relaxing, quiet location.

Summary: A really nice property, gated and ideal for children with the pool safety fence. The property was in a quiet location, and clean. It has three double bedrooms and one family bathroom inside (A second bathroom outside). A compact villa but this is fine as all our time was spent outside. All furniture was In excellent condition. Any issues were reported to Marie JOSE who has limited English but was so lovely and accommodating (we had no wi-fi for 3 days and toaster broke). We wished we had longer in the property on departure day as you have to leave at 0900 especially as we had 2 children with us so be mindful of this and make plans to suit. The pool was heated and we all enjoyed it every day!! Be aware that A car is useful to get food shopping and to travel along the coastline (you must sample the stunning scenery and beaches) but you can easily walk to L'Ampolla to access bars, restaurants, harbour etc which takes 15 minutes. The train station is close by and you can visit Barcelona or Valencia (this is on our list to do next time). We flew into Reus and hired a car with firefly which was fine and we had no issues. We look forward to visiting again, Catalonia is a wonderful place!! The property owner Maria was so helpful and really happy to advise us in matters prior to arriving. Thank you.

Summary: The house is well equipped and comfortable. The garden and swimming pool are well looked after and safe for children. There is a high wall all the way around enabling total privacy. The house is located in a quiet residential area just a couple of minutes drive from the local shops, restaurants and sandy beaches. Ampolla is a small very Spanish village, great for families, it isn’t a massive touristy Area and many don’t speak English or other languages. There are some nice restaurants and lots of different beaches to choose from. It is better to have a car to get about but if you wanted to walk to the beach it is possible but would take about 15 minutes. The motorway is very close which makes it practical For visits but doesn’t cause any disturbance at all as you don’t see or hear it. The owner and Maria, who shows you around on arrival, are very friendly and follow up requests quickly. My family, 2 adults a teenager and twin 6 year olds had a very relaxed and happy holiday. Summary: We have spent great time at this house. We are completely satisfied, it is very comfortable and really good equipped, in our opinion nice and cosy. Mrs Maria Jose (administrator) is very polite person, she welcomed us very nice and helped us to understand house equipment. Our children were wonder with swimming pool. Beautiful beaches (especially Platja Cap Roig) in close neighbourhood, good shopping centres (Mercadona, Lidl, etc) under 10 km from apartment make it really good place for rest. We entairy recommend this accommodation to our friends and at internet for sure. We are thinking about coming back here next year.

Summary: The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. The outside space was exceptional with a large tree if you like to be shaded and plenty of space if you like the sun....and of course a nice pool. Inside there was enough space to dine (but we usually ate out) and a fully equipped kitchen with a really large fridge freezer which was a must in 30°C temperatures when we were there. Satellite tv and wifi, although most of the channels I found were French or Spansih.....as you would expect in Spain, but BBC & Sky News and eurosport were enough for me. Each of the 3 bedrooms and the living area were air conditioned, again a bonus in the heat. The resort has nice beaches, and a choice of bars and restaurants and it only took us 10-15mins to walk to the main harbour area....2 - 3 mins by car. We visited Panoramica Golf at St Jordi, Peniscola Beach, Salou & Reus and had a nice evening in Tortosa. All of these places were less than 45 mins in the car. I would recommend the property highly and the resort is ideal for families.
