Positive: We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Anahata Gite for our anniversary. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped. While it is close to the owners home they have ensured complete privacy to guests. The outside space is lovely with a good sized pool, plenty of seating in the sun or shade and a beautiful terrace overlooking countryside. Barry and Aprille were warm and friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome. A car is a must but there are many pretty towns, markets, chateaus and vineyards within easy reach. We loved staying here and would be very pleased to come back. Thank you

Positive: The place is great and cozy. The host is super friendly and responsive. Me and my wife loved this place.
Negative: Don’t forget to rent a car when you visit the area. It’s hard to find a taxi or busses in the neighborhood.

Positive: The owners have put a lot of effort to ensure that the property is excellently equipped and furnished. Even though next door to the main house, there is exclusive use of the courtyard which is very private. The pool and setting are lovely. We were welcomed with gifts of local produce and Barry and Aprille could not have been more helpful throughout our stay sorting any problems (including ad hoc engineering works to our car!). We enjoyed the charming walks round the property and could venture as far we liked in superb countryside along the marked randonnée that pass it. Could not recommend the property more.

Positive: Absolutely fantastic in every aspect. The gîte is fully equipped with everything you could need : the towels and linens were numerous and great quality, the kitchen comes with every appliances and utensils you need to cook and clean, and the whole house is decorated and furnished with great care. The location is truly stunning : the hamlet where the house is, is charming, the terrace offers a view on the whole area and the very big garden is a pleasure to wander in. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet, all your hear is the birds during daytime and the frogs at night. Plus, nearest villages and shops are only a 5-10 drive from there. Last but not least, Aprille and Barry are absolutely lovely, available for their guests and open to suggestions. They ensured we had enough for breakfast and gave us plenty of eggs from their own chickens during the stay. We'll be back very soon and for longer :-)

Positive: Wonderful huge accomodation in the french landscape with the most wonderful hosts Barry and April. Spacious house and courtyard with a great pool for private use ( and lots of pool accsessories). The house was really well equipped and furnished with love, it feels like home immediately. Nothing was missing. Everything was perfectly clean. Coffee, beer, wine, bread and Croissants, butter and fresh eggs from their own happy chickens;) as a welcome when we arrived. Also our crazy dog was welcome, thank you for that. Very good price for what you get. Thank you for everything, we hope to come back for a second visit.

Positive: Fantastic gite in the french countryside. Warm welcome from hosts on arrival, including perfect starter kit, including coffee, croissants, fresh laid eggs, baguettes and even some wine and a few beers to get settled in. Hosts kept to themselves but were always happy to help and and answer any questions we had. Spacious garden, pool and outdoor dining space. If that isn't enough, there is plenty of in-house entertainment including good wifi, boardgames, jigsaws, books and British TV.
Summary: 6/5. Perfect for families and great location, close to Villereal & Monflanquin.
