Positive: Beautiful property. Breakfast was excellent. Praew from the Vacation Club went out of her way to make our stay special. Finn from the restaurant was amazing. The staff were fantastic!
Negative: It was rainy so we were stuck for a couple of days. It would be nice if the hotel laid on wet weather plans with some activities, discounted drinks etc to improve the ambience. The room pool was cold especially when rainy which was a shame.
Summary: Excellent trip and a lovely hotel I would recommend to all

Positive: Great location, great food, Immaculately kept grounds, the staff were truly fantastic.
Negative: Room was tired and in need of an update. We had a room with a plunge pool on the ground floor. Some examples: The tap leaked every time it was turned on and got progressively worse, soaking our shoes and clothes. Maintenance people came twice to repair but it made no difference. The phone in the room and the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first evening (but was resolved quickly after we reported the issue). At one point the water coming through the shower and taps was completely black! We reported this and it never occurred again but no explanation as to what it was or why it occurred. These issues were (almost) made up for by the wonderful staff. Each and every staff member we encountered throughout our stay was fabulous; Helpful, friendly, kind and made us feel like we’re the only guests at the hotel! In particular the housekeeping staff were amazing. Our room was spotless and they worked so hard to return our room to an organised and beautifully tidy space. The pool area was far smaller than expected and was quite noisy and chaotic so we avoided this area. Despite signs around the pool, it was similar to lower end resorts around Europe with guests putting towels down super early to ‘reserve’ their spot which were then often left unoccupied for hours. The beach area was less busy and a lot quieter, we always managed to find a sun-bed here. We had stayed the previous week in a serviced villa, which was far cheaper and in my opinion of a much higher standard.
Summary: Amazing staff, beautiful location but expensive for what it is.
