Positive: We liked the amenities, the location and the vintage vibe. The courtyard was fabulous, the ship was sensational.
Negative: We didnt like that we had to download an app to our phones then struggle holding several bags to try and get the door to connect with our bluetooth. Had we arrived later after the office closed, it would have been worse. The hotel is old which we actually enjoyed however, it could benefit from a deep clean. The walls are thin, we could hear our neighbors clearly but the hotel did provide ear plugs.

Positive: It's a very unique place that once you understand how it is set-up, you can really enjoy it to its fullest. We weren't as prepared first time, but will definitely look to stay again! Help yourself amenities fully stocked and free wash and dryer to boot. Excellent! Games room fun. Outdoor area fun with gas or wood pits. And the smores were an excellent gift!
Negative: We didn't know about the interesting arrangements until I got a text while driving saying we had already been checked in. The first 30 minutes of our arrival was confusing, but soon got it sorted. Since it's a "do it yourself" kind of place, it makes sense now. TV's didn't work well with sound or watching DVDS that were available - could barely hear and could not turn up more. One of the beds in the one room smelled like dog. Other two beds were great.
Summary: Overall very enjoyable! You have to be prepared to check yourself in and out. Can call for help.

Positive: I spent a night on my way to a conference along with my research partner We l-o-v-e-d our stay The room was great, spacious with comfortable beds. It was definitely noted that they thought of everything from cup to extra blankets The s'more kit was great we enjoyed making them The sit facilities were great from laundry, to fire pits, a sandbox for kids to a play room I highly recommend it to solo travelers as well as families!!!
