Positive: Gina is so nice and we spent two happy days there. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the comfortable beds, towels, and bathrobes et al. The quality weighs more than a 4 star hotel. For anyone, who would like to visit North Berwick and would not like to spend too much time on transportation, I recommend this warm B&B.

Negative: The curtains cannot totally block out the sunlight, if you are light sleeper or light-sensitive sleeper, bring a pair of eyeshade.

Positive: Attractive stone façade, lovely welcome from Gina, spotlessly clean, good full choice breakfast, 2 chairs in room, heated ensuite tiled floor, fresh quality décor and fittings, house and room keys for easy access, no fuss, comfy beds, good lighting. Our room had sea / harbour view. What's not to like? Location: on front street with fairly open outlook facing harbour basins and promenade area. Short walk to delightful, friendly pub, Thorntree Inn, opposite. Attractive old fishing village. Can't fault anything - even managed to outside park at night.

Negative: Absolutely nothing - a happy customer! Would recommend and visit again if required. Stair to upper floor room could be a little challenging for some (even older) folk.

Summary: Brilliant, exceeded expectations - just needed local beds for the night.
