Summary: We (two adults and a 2-year-old) are very lucky we chosed Corte Boselli for our holiday. Choose this accommodation if you appreciate a quiet, lovingly maintained and charming atmosphere! No matter if just adults or with kids, there are so many options for activities for everyone: relaxing in the beautiful garden with a great view, visiting small italien towns or Parma, hiking, walking through Parco Provinciale Monte Fuso watching deer, enjoying tasty food, buying specialties from the region directly from the manufacturer, … and much more The house was very clean, big and of charming ancient beauty and the kitchen was fully equipped. Particularly noteworthy are the extremly warm and helpful hosts. They were very caring, lovely and inspiring. Full of gratitude, we think back to our stay and will definately come back. Thank you very much, Giacomo and Liliana

Summary: Giacomo and Liliana's estate house has an old world charm with modern appliances and furnishings. The exterior area is expansive with fabulous mountain vistas of the surrounding Appenines. Giacomo and Liliana were great hosts: friendly, communicative and very attentive to all of our family. They are super hosts! It is a 30-60 minute drive to cities such as Parma, Reggio Emilia and Modena. We stayed a week with three young children and enjoyed every day. Amenities and appliances allowed us to feel at home. It was a tremendous experience!

Summary: Corte Boselli (C.B.)is a very special place. Our hosts welcomed us warmly. We felt supported far more than we could expect. Our car had been burglarized. So we arrived on Saturday in the dark and without our everyday equipment. Liliana and Giacomo (L. G.) supplied us with some clothing and food, and they reassured us of their help. "Don't worry" they calmed us down. So G. led us to the Carabinieri at Neviano.His translation was very helpful to clarify all important points. And - almost unbelievable - when, next day, our things showed up again, he accompanied us to the Carabinieri again to help regulate the technicalities. Exceptional are not only L. and G., it is also C.B. and its surroundings. Far away in space (long curvy access) and time (house and furnitur reminded us of our grandparents but with modern convenience). Time to come down and find peace. L. and G. and C.B. remain a wonderful memory.

Summary: First, Giacomo and Liliana are kind and gracious hosts, and the home is beautiful and well kept. However, it is not what I would call a "detached" home as the title listing indicates, as it's part of an adjoined complex of four units. But it does have a private entrance and the walls are extremely thick, so you don't hear any neighbors. This unit also has 4 single beds on the third floor, in addition to the 2 bunk beds on the second floor, so in some ways it's a bit better than described as it can technically sleep up to 10. Also, I wouldn't really say it has two bathrooms. There is one bathroom on the second floor, and guests can use a second bathroom that's in a small building the yard. This second bathroom is also used by others including guests who come to the property for yoga retreats and other events hosted there, so I think it's inaccurate to say that this rental has two bathrooms when one isn't in the unit and is semi-public. Our only other criticism is that the windows desperately need screens. We would have loved to open them up more often and get a fresh breeze, but doing so brings in plenty of bugs. So we were always fighting either heat or bugs, or having to use the air conditioner, which would have been unnecessary. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy, if not the world.

Summary: First, Giacomo and Liliana were very sweet and gracious hosts. They shared a home baked dessert and wine from their property and tried to make sure that our stay was a pleasant one. Second, our overall stay in mid-May was hampered by very cool temperatures and rain which very much put a damper on our time there - obviously nobody's fault, it just was. We planned to use the week's stay as a basis for day trips to Parma, Modena, etc... which we did. Once we found our way around, this worked fine. Unfortunately our GPS was not tremendously helpful. Because of its remote site, being a home base for hiking and nature may be a better plan for someone. For whatever reason, our cellular plan did not work. We had operated by location WiFi at other stops, but there was not WiFi here. And even the 4G service was spotty. We eventually got this resolved after a few days, and Giacomo gave us a hotspot for use which helped tremendously. But not having connectivity for several days through a wrench in our planning. Heat inside the farmhouse was an issue. I can see how summer would be perfect to stay here - hot outside and cool inside. But the perfect storm happened for us - cool outside and inside. There is not a way to heat the apartment, just a space heater, and it was not able to keep up. And a recent nesting by birds made the fireplace a non-starter. On top of that the electrical service kept tripping, as we tried to keep on the space heater, cook on the stove, operate the water heater for showers.... The power was not adequate, so we were constantly picking which thing to run... So all in all a beautiful rustic spot with gracious hosts, but some pitfalls should the perfect "storm" hit your time there.

Summary: Very confortable house with stunning landscapes, walks and surroundings. The farm has a place to do streches, gym or Yoga..our 2 daughters enjoyed holidays as never, running in the lands, walking and playing together while we were reading (😁..). Owners are quiet and do everything to make your stay special.. This place is perfect for relaxing and to take as a base for overnight tryps to Venecia (2h), and round tryp Florencia + Pisa + Cinqueterre.. We really enjoyed Parma and beautifull Boloña.. We did the shopping 1st day at a Lidl for 10 days (20km) and I enjoyed several breakfasts at Scuranno small square (8km). We will miss all of it😊..!

Summary: After a two week holiday we returned to the Netherlands with the beautiful Emilia-Romagna scenery, Corte Boselli and their owners in our hearts. Giacomo & Liliana made our stay very comfortable and their hospitality and attention is very pleasant. We have never seen a holiday house that was so clean and decorated with that much love and attention. The pictures and film on this website and the site of Corte Boselli give a good impression of this wonderful place. We went swimming, had some city trips to Parma and Bologna, went to the Mediterranean Sea and had some nice hikes in the neighbourhood. One of them with Giacomo and Liliana. This place is a must if you want to explore this region. We love to go back sometime!

Summary: Lovely holiday in the charming folded hills of what is rugged territory, not far outside Parma. The house is comfortable and offers a chance to get away from it all, with the only noises being crickets and grasshoppers. The location is lovely, perched on top of some hills, with lovely views all around. The nearby hosts, Giacomo and Liliana, were fantastic, giving a gracious welcome to Italy, being very attentive to providing help and recommendations, without encroaching on privacy. It is the first time that I, personally, can say that upon leaving I missed the hosts. Thank you Giacomo and Liliana, two wonderful people, and thank you for the cake too.

Summary: This place is really beautiful and very well kept. The scenery is amazing. We were working on a TV show in Parma and decided we had to find a place in the hills for some more scenery for our cooking sessions, and it worked out perfectly. This place is truly what you would imagine Italy looks like. Giacomo and Liliana, the hosts, truly are like mom & dad away from home. They are very kind and helpful. The house we stayed in is lovely and quite spacious. It's traditional italian with lots of history. The temperature inside the house is cool even when it's very hot outside. If you have a car it's also a good base for exploring Food Valley and other parts of the hills/mountains. We truly loved this place and we reccomend it very much for the authentic Italian experience by itself.
