Positive: Really is a proper 5 star resort with a wow factor. Island, even by Maldivian standards beautiful. Back side of Island particularly beautiful and private and villas here are lovely. Food very good here. Snorkelling also very good with free daily snorkelling trip at 11am to sections of the main house reef
Negative: No need to loud DJ music in bar at night - it killed the atmosphere and emptied the bar each time but the management were determined to keep it.

Positive: Angsana Velavaru exceeded all expectations — it was an unforgettable stay from beginning to end. The staff were incredible — so warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to Tuan, Eli, Alina, and Laila for making us feel truly at home. Their kindness and attention to detail created such a positive atmosphere that we’re already planning to come back. The villa was very comfortable, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The island itself is beautiful — lush greenery, palm trees, and a peaceful vibe despite the number of villas. Everything is perfectly integrated into the landscape, which makes walks around the island a real joy. The ocean was amazing. While there’s no reef right at the shore, it makes swimming more pleasant and safe. At the same time, the resort offers access to a fantastic house reef with organized snorkeling trips — the best of both worlds! We highly recommend combining a beach villa with a few nights overwater — this way, you get to enjoy both the privacy and stunning views of the ocean and the rich nature of the island.
