Summary: Was an ok stay overall but for 140 a night i would expect the hot tub to be working i was told it was not heater dident work it's fine but then I would expect other things to be a little bit better like the breakfast which was almost non-existent there was an area for eggs or some type of meat which there was neither it was help yourself to making a waffle and that's about all they had I was waiting on someone on the day that I checked out to leave town together and when I asked if I could stay in the pool area for a little bit until my colleague could meet me about an hour from then after the already crappy breakfast I would assume it wouldn't be that big of a deal I was met with attitude and a very harsh no can't do that I've been able to wait in the pool area or hang out in the pool area for a little bit at any hotels that I've been at wasn't even planning on swimming not like it's a liability for me to just sit there and dip my feet or just sit in the nice pool area and enjoy the sound of the little waterfall that they have at this hotel the place was overall clean I guess I would say we'll just like a better breakfast if I stay here ever again and a shower that doesn't back up and start filling up the tub a minute after starting your shower and for the price of a night in the hotel I just expect simple things to be reasonable or nice

Summary: We’re from Chicago & we bopped over to Blarney Island for Memorial Day. This hotel, although extremely basic, is 100% better than the motel we stayed at last year.

Summary: We come once or twice a year to visit family in Antioch and like the convenience of staying in town. Over the years the property has gone from a branded one to owner operated and gone through at least one change in owners. The property has solid bones, but even those are showing signs of wear. That would not be half as bad if the rate weren't at a premium, @ $200/night. We try to support the property by getting a night cap after a day of family activities. They have a Full Service Bar in the lobby. This past time not only did they not even come over and ask for our order, but when I asked the Bar Tender if we could order her answer was, only if you come up to the bar. Which I did. I placed our order and the Bar Tender said she had never made a Manhattan, but would look it up. I watched and she put 1 oz of Rye, requested by us, 2.5 oz of Sweet Vermouth, which I had to identify for her, and added "a pour of Bitters", not a Dash, but a pour. I stopped her as she was about to add 2 more pours of bitters. Needless to say we thanked her for the drinks went to our table and had a few sips of a bottle of water we brought in in our bags from the day. We paid for the two drinks and returned them to the bar. If you are going to advertise a Full Service Bar on the property it should be one. Our Room needed new furniture at the very least. The couch was so worn and old that the vinyl on it was cracking and flaking off.

Summary: Very clean and wrll maintained rooms albeit some ceiling stains. Very improved atmoshphere from5 or so years back and var staff Ray very personable and made our syop in Foxs fun and comfortable. Overpowering chlorene smell in halls but didnt oberly affect our stay. Building could use a spruce up foe the fees charged for Antioch.

Summary: Room was clean and comfortable. Check in and out were quick and easy. Breakfast was skimpy- boiled eggs or yogurt or waffles or bagels/toast. Happy enough with our stay.
