Positive: I had a really great stay here. The house has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after long days in Osaka. Everything was clean, well maintained and thoughtfully prepared. The host was very kind and welcoming, and I always felt comfortable during my stay. The location is also very convenient, with good access to public transport. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Positive: The staff were very helpful with recommendations and assistance with how to get around Osaka. They do provide a shuttle service from the nearest train stations. If you stay longer than 3 days. They take you to a nearby onsen free of charge. I loved that they also cooked you breakfast if you would like. I also got to meet some cool people who were staying there as well. Staying here made my first time in Osaka amazing.

Positive: Katsuya-san is the kind of host that makes you question whether you've accidentally wandered into a five-star hotel disguised as a guesthouse. He's genuinely thoughtful, courteous, and goes above and beyond in ways that most hosts wouldn't even consider. The guesthouse itself is spotless, spacious, and outfitted with brand-new facilities. The common areas are thoughtfully designed and meticulously clean, as are the bathrooms and toilets. There's also a washing machine, and complimentary tea, coffee, and even the occasional fresh fruit—a small touch that makes a big difference. When I arrived, Katsuya-san immediately offered me a complimentary room upgrade. Even before my stay began, he had kindly offered to pick me up, and at the end of my visit, he offered a ride to my next destination. On a rainy day, he gave me a free onsen ticket and even drove me there and back, which was a thoughtful touch. Unexpectedly, I had to shorten my stay, but Katsuya-san handled it with grace. He proactively contacted Booking.com to help secure the best possible outcome for me. Between the pristine amenities and Katsuya-san’s extraordinary hospitality, this place is an absolute steal. If you're lucky enough to find it available, don't hesitate—book it.

Negative: If I had one (very minor) gripe, it would be the location. The guesthouse is about a 15–17 minute walk from the nearest train station—not a deal breaker by any means, but worth noting if you’re arriving late or lugging heavy bags. Thankfully, Katsuya-san generously offered to pick me up and drop me off, which made things much easier. There are also bus stops nearby, and taxis are a reliable backup. As long as you’re okay with a bit of walking or planning around public transport, it’s really not an issue.

Summary: Katsuya-san is a rockstar host! An absolutely delightful stay!

Positive: Lovely hosts who made me feel right at home, even giving me a lift to and from the nearby train station at check out and check in. The facilities (toilet, shower, washing machine, etc) were all in clean and working order. The room was spacious and spotless, and quite comfortable.

Negative: The station is about 20 mins by foot or you can take a bus, so if you have a lot of luggage that may pose a problem. This didn't worry me though as the staff were so kind as to give me a lift to and from the accommodation at check in and check out.
