Apartament Aida ( sleeps 4 + terrace) which we propose to our guests is found at a distance of a few metres from the church of SS Maria di Portosalvo at Marina di Ragusa, a popular holiday resort on the south east coast of Sicily.
At only 150 metres is the main square with all public services: the chemist, newsagent, bank, post office, bars and restaurants, etc. The square is also the point of arrival and departure of the local bus service to Ragusa, Catania airport and railway station.
At a similar distance you will find the main beach between the red lighthouse along the pedestrian seafront and the harbour where the little wooden boats, belonging to the local fishermen are moored and where they sell their nights catch.

Summary: Arrived back home with a heavy heart !! Having spent 1week in a quirky,cozy,super little apartment . A little gem ! The location was perfect , literally 2 mins walk to the main piazza,beach and promenade.A bakery across the road...Basically everything you need just short stroll left or right once you walked out the front door, The apartment itself was perfect,with the big plus of a gorgeous private balcony.Although no Seaview, looking across the tiled rooftops,the locals enroute to where ever ,and the sun that shone all day in this space... Everything I needed was in the apartment,and although not a large apartment,for two people it never felt cramped.Vittorio and his wonderful mother were perfect hosts , nothing was too much trouble for them, excellent communication before and during our stay . Would I recommend this apartment? Absolutely Yes ... Spotlessly clean, perfect location, wonderful hosts,what more could make this holiday perfect apart from being in wonderful Marina Di Ragusa.
