Positive: Fantastic location for visiting Ronda. Spacious apartment with large balcony

Negative: The air conditioning was not efficient. Bedroom fan only worked with light remaining on. Kitchen crockery was in need of some replacement. Generally appeared in need of updating and refreshing.

Positive: The apartment was very bright and airy. We went in late May so the weather was just right to open the windows and let the breeze blow through. We would definitely come back, Pablo was a great host and was there to help with any issues or questions. Also the location is fantastic! 5 mins walk to the main high street and center. The apartment is on a quiet street but the street has lively moments; groups of school kids, horse and cart going down the street and sometimes the restaurant opens downstairs, if you're lucky! Overall great, recommended.

Positive: The most important fact about this apartment is that it clearly wasn't created as a money-making machine serving tourists with a minimal acceptable offer, but was evidently equipped as an apartment to live in, also for longer periods. Storage space is far beyond common expectations, there is a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob and sufficient cooking equipment. There was some coffee, tea, sugar, salt and spices kept probably from other visitors (a lot of salt, no need to bring your own at the moment) and enough essentials for all the needs in the bathroom, dishwasher, etc. Two truly large TV sets, if you care abut that. Wifi worked well. The views are very nice. The location in the old town of Ronda is exceptional with many attractions in easy walking distance and during our out-of-season stay also very quiet. Parking at the indicated site, a short distance away, was easy and reasonably priced. We felt very safe in this neighbourhood and had several nice interactions with neighbours and locals (in Spanish). Once we had figured out how to best do this, it was no problem to keep the apartment comfy even on a cold day. The host is very conscientious and was frequently in contact to know if everything was going well. Should our travels bring us back to Ronda, we would surely put Arkadio very high on our priority list.

Negative: As other reviews have already explained, there are drawbacks you may want to consider: 1. If you want to drop off your luggage at the building's door, it is possible to drive there, but you better get the best path explained. 2. There is no lift and you have to carry your luggage up for two floors. I'm really not sportive and found that quite manageable. 3. The shower _is_ small, albeit not the smallest I ever encountered. I am nearly 2m tall and wide-shouldered and could take a shower but hardly move around in the shower stall. 4. In the cold season the nice terrace is much less useful, so you maybe short of an option to sit down for a real dinner. 5. There was indeed every now and then a sewer smell from the bathroom, but this is a problem you can encounter in many places in Spain.

Positive: Pablo was a great host, always available helpful and friendly. This ia wondeful appartment in a quiet corner of the old town, tucked in behind the church, great views from the windows. A perfect location for exploring the town and for a early morning walk, then return for breafast. Very clean, well set up kitchen comfortable bed and nice bed linen. Cosy on a cold evening and TV which can connect to your streaming sevice. I stayed for 3 nights and would loved to stayed fo longer.

Negative: Small points, but the shower cubical is a bit snug, and on a cold evening it would have been nice to have the dinning table inside the appartment rather than on the verandah.

Positive: It was a great apartment, spacious & central. I loved the little balcony. Great views from the bedroom windows. Decor was great. Amazing apartment with small balconies to street for view.

Negative: For my husband although a slender guy, preferred a larger shower if am being totally honest but ok for me.But all worked well. Access to dropping the cases before parking the car, the entrance with driving narrow access & was no way of turning back but my husband a great driver so we managed. Park car in Ayunamiento parking (leave cases by cathedral corner and you can access property from there.

Positive: The appartment is terrific. Located in the old town of Ronda, which is perfect. Enough to have a drink or eat around the door. All the attractions at walking distance. The contact with the owner is amicable and quick. The appartment has all the needed amenities. The shower may be a little small but that is a very minor point compared to the rest. Also there is no lift but that's good for the condition ;) We would not hesitate to stay here again !
