Positive: We stayed here in order to explore the nearby Ptuj area on our way from Croatia to Austria, and it made for a very comfortable base. It is a whole house really: there are two big bedrooms, a nice bathroom plus kitchen with dining area. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable and it's really nice and warm (you can set the temperature yourself with the thermostat on the wall). Continue past the house through the extended family's yard and you'll reach a pleasant river where you can go for a nice walk. Ptuj is just about 10 minutes away by car and worth visiting for it's excellent castle museum or just for a stroll around the charming old town.
Negative: It would be helpful to have a couple of dishwasher detergent tablets, and a baking tray for the oven. Otherwise everything was provided.

Positive: - the place was clean. - Everything needed was provided. - The host was very nice, and the neighbors were friendly. - My family enjoyed playing with the kittens; they kept my kids off their tablets. - It was quiet.
Negative: - Needs a fan or AC. The first two nights, we had a hard time sleeping because it was too hot, and during the day, it was unbearable to stay indoors until the sun moved away from the facade. - Needs mosquito nets on the windows (we bought anti-mosquito plugs, which helped).

Positive: We stayed twice in this property, once on our way to Croatia and again on the way back. The owners were very friendly, the house had everything one could want and need for even a longer stay. The beds and the pillows were super comfy, there was tea and coffee provided and also shower gel and liquid soap, everything one could want was in the kitchen even cling foil, really excellent accommodation. The 4 little kittens outside were very entertaining. The lady spoke English very well and the keys were in a keybox.
Negative: Could do with some insect repellent, but that was our fault for not having one.
