Positive: Our accommodation satisfied our expectations. We enjoyed the views our expansive balcony provided, allowing us to enjoy the vistas of the surrounding mountains. We also appreciated a convenient on-site parking, free of charge. The location was perfect for exploring the area, including easy access to many nature hikes. We will be back for sure!

Positive: The room was nice and large. The bed was comfy. The kitchenette was basic but tolerable. Super location in the town,
Negative: I didn't book a room with an explicit wonderful view to be honest.... but the balcony in my room overlooked a carpark, which was a bit annoying - prob more my fault tho. Apartment was somewhat too hot, but as there is possible way to ask a question about how to change that, its not all that valid. I have no idea whether hotel facilities were available to the apartment. The breakfast was payable as extra (and very nice too!). Again, no-one was communicating to even ask: The main complaint is a real biggie: There was no way to meaningfully communicate with the owner/landlord. These apartments are inside the Panorama hotel (which is lovely) but the hotel washes their hands of issues to do with it. Messages sent to the owner many many weeks in advance were never answered. I managed to get a far-too-late answer about early checkin only on the day I arrived, despite trying for over a month. On arrival the toilet flush was broken but I could not get any reply from the owner (text, booking.com messaging, nor direct-dial). A day later, after either sluicing the toilet out with saucepans of water or just finding a toilet downstairs in the hotel. I managed just by happenstance to meet a maid n the afternoon who services this room (not one of the hotel maids?) who I managed to get to bring in a man to fix the flush. All the while being ignored by the owner. I had by then taken this up with booking.com who advised me to fulfil my payment and they're sort it out. The owner dutifully did their normal thing of asking for final payment either in cash left in the room (terribly unsafe) or paypal (which I did), they acknowledging but ignoring the complaint. Both these methods of payment are not ideal....... After departure I again contacted booking.com as requested and they sorted me out a goodwill refund. I therefore remained happy, just about.

Positive: Its a hotel, so it has wellness, free parking, kids play room, decent breakfast. Its in the heart of Strbkse Pelso. Its also an apartment so it has kitchen, large living areas. It feels like home. Perfect combination. Best restaurant in the city is 30 meters from hotel (Furkotka).
Negative: It is such popular, you need some luck to book for exact dates.
Summary: This is like a lifehack to High Tatras. I cant imagine better option to start our hiking trips from.
