Summary: Good location. Nice view. Clean room. Cons: - no ironing, no cofee mashine, no hair dryer, no knife for bread and fruits/vegetables Overall - recommended for remote stay - very hard pillows. We had healthy problems with neck due to hard

Summary: We spent a happy week in El Cortijillo. Welcoming hosts, spacious apartment. Ideal location both for getting to know Andalucia and for a bit of sports as is in the middle of a 127km long via verde, two minutes from the house. The via verde del aceite (greenway) is built on an old railway track, so made lovely cycling, enchanting scenery with mountains and Andalucian white villages and no big ascents or traffic. We rented bikes locally and they delivered them to Cortijillo. They also do transfers if you want to cycle one-way only. In addition, we did some trekking in the national park. The house has two upstairs holiday apartments, both with sunny terrace. There is also a pool area where you can sit and enjoy the peace and wonderful scenery, either in the sun or in the shade. We appreciated the washing machine. Hope to come back some day!

Summary: We had booked a week here at Balbino's whilst on our tour of Portugal and Spain with my mother joining us from the UK for the week. It was a rustic Spanish farm setting, lovely pool and surrounding area just the peace and quiet we were looking for. Balbino and his wife were very friendly and helpful, even with the difference in languages but google translator is a great help. My mother enjoyed her well deserved break and once back on her journey to the UK we left to continue our trip. We felt very rested, tanned and ready to continue. Thank you Balbino.

Summary: We had an amazing week at the property. The pool and grounds are beautiful, the owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful without ever being intrusive. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were regularly given large platters of freshly picked vegetables from his own kitchen garden. I can't recommend the property highly enough and would like to thank the owner and his family for a perfect holiday. Matt Beach

Summary: A wonderful location on an olive farm, in very relaxing surroundings with a fantastic view. The accommodation was clean and spacious. A perfect base to explore Andalucia from. Towns like Baena, Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Zuheros and Ubeda are within easy driving distance. The host family were very friendly and accommodating.
