The apartment faces the sea-promenade, with a beautiful view on the sea, the harbour and the central beach.
It is a beautiful apartment, very comfortable for 4 people with its two double bed-rooms, but it can sleep up to 6 persons as it has a sofa-bed in the dining room. It is on two floors.
On the first floor is the entrance, the kitchen with a little balcony, the W.C. with the washing machine and a little utility room. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge-freezer, microwave-oven, gas-stove and oven.
Then there is a comfortable dining room with sofa-bed, digital terrestrian TV, table and chairs and finally the balcony, wich is large enough to have lunch or dinner, with its own table, chairs, sun-chairs and umbrella.
On the second floor, there are two bed-rooms, one with a balcony facing the sea, and the bathroom with shower. Both bed-room has air-conditioning/pump heater.

Summary: We had a wonderful holiday in Cala Gonone. The location of this property was perfect for us - right in the middle of everything, just a few steps from the beach and a short walk from the harbour. Lots of great bars and restaurants all around. Even though we were there in mid August when the town is very busy, Cala Gonone seems like a family-oriented place so not too noisy at night - and we liked the general bustle during the day. The flat was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, and felt more spacious that the pictures make it look. The lower balcony gets full sun in the morning (v hot in August!) but is nice and shady by midday, and great for watching the world go by on the street below. The top floor balcony is more private and sunny most of the day. The English-speaking owners - Katia and Salvatore - are really friendly and helpful - made us very welcome and gave us lots of advice on things to do in the area (esp as we hardly speak any Italian). Cala Gonone is a great little resort - nice beaches, lots of cafes and restuarants and shops, and a very handy little supermarket less than 100 m from the flat. The scenery around the town is fantastic - mountains, forests, cliffs, steep winding roads with incredible views, and of course the star of the show: boat trips along the Golfo de Orosei, which is so spectacular it's difficult to describe! There's also lots of interesting places to see inland, if you fancy some time away from the sea. We can't recommend this place highly enough (esp if you can go outside july/aug when it gets really busy). Our only regret was that we only went for 1 week!

Summary: This is a lovely apartment in Cala Gonone, directly across from the seafront with a nice view from the terrace. Everything in the town is within walking distance (supermarkets, restaurants, gelato etc). Katia & Salvatore were very helpful with information and we had a wonderful stay. Also a perfect morning coffee/afternoon aperitivo bar directly downstairs from the apartment. Note that you lose the sun on the terrace of the apartment in the evening - probably a good thing in the hot summer months.

Summary: What a friendly, friendly area! Lovely apartment in a perfect location. Surrounded by cafes, gelato shops, a tikki bar with pina coladas, and oh yeah, in front of the ocean! The apartment was clean and offered nice space with two floors, both with balconies. Quiet even though there are neighbors are on both sides. Private entrance. Katia and Salavatore are great hosts and we appreciated their kindness. Both speak good English. Salvatore also speaks German. He took us by the market and made restaurant suggestions. The market has a deli for sandwiches. Inexpensive and very good! Many good local wines also. We could not have asked for a better visit! ***If you are headed down soon, know a bridge is out so make sure you understand an alternate route. Your GPS may turn you around. (I believe it was 131 to sp38 south down to Dorgali and then into Cala Gonone via' the tunnel.) Also, the boat rentals are expensive (80+petrol, about 25) but it was absolutely amazing and worth it! The beaches along the coast are a fairytale! Thank you Katia and Salvatore for being awesome!

Summary: I visited Cala Gonone with my boyfriend in June and could not hove wished for a more enjoyable or relaxing stay. The apartment is really spacious, with a fantastic location and beautiful views looking out over the sea from the two balconies. Will definitely visit again!

Summary: My sister and I had the most fantastic week's holiday here at Casa Grazia in Cala Gonone. The location is just perfect being right in the centre of Cala Gonone and very near to restaurants, supermarkets, bars, the marina, and the local beaches. Casa Grazia has a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, the central beach, and the marina. We spent lots of time in the morning and early evening relaxing and admiring the views. Katia and her family gave us the warmest welcome and we felt very comfortable, safe, and relaxed staying here as her family also own the shop downstairs and we got the impression that people look out for each other here. We found the local people to be so warm and friendly. Katia and Salvatore were happy to offer advice and tips on anything from restaurants and trips if you needed it. We ate at the local restaurants most evenings and the food was fantastic! We recommend the seafood pastas and the gelato - delicious! We had some great meals overlooking the sea in restaurants such as the Road House Blues, Il Pescatore, and the hotel Bue Marino (a panoramic terrace on the 4th floor overlooking the harbour). We loved the beaches accessible by boat - our favourite was Cala Mariolu, and we have never seen water so clear! Paradise. We can recommend the mini-cruise of the beaches by Venere (large boat) and Ceilomar (small rubber dingy speedboat). Both trips are very different but great in different ways! The smaller boat allows you to get in close and see caves, and allows you to swim from the boat in amazing spots like Picina de Venere. The larger Venere boat is very comfortable and great for families. All in all we had an absolutely fantastic time and we are thankful to Katia and her family for providing us everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We hope to be back soon!! :)
