Our home is on the National Register of Historic Places and was built in 1910. It is surrounded by other historic homes, some remaining since before the Civil War.
Business Trips:
Walking distance to KIPP Charter School, Federal Courthouse, and County Courthouse. Short 3 min drive to Helena Regional Hospital, EnviroTech, Central High School and other large businesses.
Convenient for festivals!
There are many festivals in Downtown Helena. King Biscuit Blues Festival, Gospel Fest, Jazz on the Levee, Rockabilly Festival, Warfield Concert Series, and The Cherry Street Fair to name a few. Our house is within walking distance to all.
The Helena Museum, The Delta Cultural Center and Train Depot Museum, King Biscuit Time Radio Show, Fort Curtis, Freedom Park, Court Square Park, Battery C, the Confederate Cemetery, and architectural interests-such as one of the few cathedrals built by Charles Eames are all within walking distance.
There are gift shops and restaurants on Cherry Street, a short 4 blocks from our home.
We are a short 40 minutes drive to Clarksdale, Mississippi. Juke Joint Festival, Sunflower Festival are all great!

This is the most beautiful, stylish, gorgeously decorated and spacious apartment. Honestly you'd struggle to find a nicer place to stay anywhere. The bedrooms are HUGE and all the artwork is just lovely. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean and all in all just a great place to stay! Misti and Will are wonderful hosts and were so friendly and helpful - they clearly love their town and their enthusiasm and dedication to its revival and regeneration is a true inspiration. The world needs more people like this. Helena itself is a real delight - like a time capsule. Aside from things being closed on a Monday! The cultural centre is amazing - we popped there for a quick look and ended up spending a couple of hours. Misti and Will have great local knowledge and recommendations and that made our stay even nicer. We were only here one night but honestly wish we had stayed longer. Our boys loved the little playroom and the musical instruments and it was so thoughtful to provide them a ball to play in the garden and offer board games for them. Communication with Misti was seamless and pleasant leading up to my visit. Upon my arrival, she greeted me with kindness and helpful advice for things to do around the neighborhood and at the local King Biscuit Blues Festival. Historic Helena has many beautiful and interesting sights including Misti and Will's beautiful home built in 1910. local businesses new and old, the Mississippi River levee walk, and Civil War battlegrounds and cemeteries. Misty and will were generous hosts, offering us a delicious homemade breakfast each day we stayed in their clean, comfortable, beautifully-kept home. They were also lovely to talk to and a wealth of knowledge on Helena and the region. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Helena largely because of the generosity offered by Misti and Will. Summary: The is warm and welcoming apartment totally exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. The unit was spacious, yet comforting and cozy. Our family of four (including a tween and teenager) was able to really spread out and be in our own spaces. The owners were very thoughtful with literature available to read, kitchen and bathroom amenities, fluffy towels, and quality bedding. All of us slept really well in super-comfortable beds. Plenty of places to charge our computers, phones, watches, earbuds, etc. In-unit laundry is always a plus. There's history all over the unit, well-placed and tastefully designed. I wish we could have stayed longer to soak it all in. Lastly, communication with the owner was easy and stress free. This is a true gem!

Summary: I was exited about my reunion but not about figuring out where to stay. I found this property and booked it with some concern. The first thing that impressed me was the open communication with the owner. I msgd the owner I would be late arriving and it may be after 10pm. The owner msgd me and let me know the porch lights would be on as well as the inside lights in the kitchen. .I was impressed with the kind for-thought! The place was just as described-clean, comfortable, and no amenities left out. We had a great stay in a great place, great location for us. I would recommend this property as top notch!

Summary: We stayed in Helena 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Misti. She was very helpful in orienting us and giving us a bit of Helena’s history, giving advice about places to eat in Memphis and things to do and see in Helena. The apartment is as pictured and we loved having a glass of wine on the deck after a day of touring. The beds were comfortable, linens very nice and the kitchen well stocked to include K-cups, cream/sugar for coffee, olive oil and a few spices. We did not do any cooking, but if you wanted to, she has most everything you’d need to include a slo-cooker. Our only suggestion was to add a bit more light in the bathroom and maybe a small coffee table in front of the sofa. We would definitely go back.

Summary: This is a very spacious 2 BR upstairs apartment - nicely furnished and immaculately clean. Misti was our best-ever VRBO host - she could not have been any more accommodating and helpful. Every morning she made a wonderful breakfast (from scratch) for us and our fellow guests so we got to meet them and discuss daily plans, etc. We lucked into this at the last minute -- We would most-highly recommend this stay to all future travelers. Helena is a small delta town with so much history and personality.

Summary: We were so happy to find this apartment for our road trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Mitsi and Will are great hosts and we are thankful that we got to meet them. The apartment is way bigger than it looks, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Everything is super clean, there were maps of the city and even toys for the kids. We couldn't have asked for more and will come back for sure!

Summary: A very welcoming and comfortable accommodation for the purposes of our group. We were commuting to Clarksdale everyday for festival activities. The 30 minute drive was effortless. The apartment was more than adequate for preparing meals, telling stories around the country kitchen table or outside deck (some additional seating out there might be nice:-). Gracious and helpful hosts. A lucky find for us!

Summary: The space was clean, easy to access, with a very friendly host!. Had plenty of towels, pillows, toiletries...even down to fresh ice in the ice trays. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!
