Positive: By far the best thing about Apartment Kirchenblick was, as the name suggests, the very impressive view of the church and the rooftops of the old town, framed perfectly by the windows in the master bedroom and the living room. Absolutely stunning! My favourite thing was sitting in the window looking at the view as the weather and the light changed. The apartment is conveniently located in an elevated position, just above the historic main street, which is reachable in minutes via the medieval steps starting right outside the house entrance. A lovely, traditional Heuriger (wine tavern) is just down the steps and adjacent to the house - perfect if you want to try a few glasses of wine from the surrounding vineyards. In the other direction, the narrow streets lead past numerous Heurigen out of the town to the terraced slopes of the vineyards where there are many footpaths to explore. The apartment offers lots of space for families or small groups, and the kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering. A Spar supermarket is located a short walk away and there is also a bakery in the centre of town. We all slept very comfortably and the apartment was clean and warm. Our host was very kind and communicative, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
