Enjoy the natural beauty of the Battenkill River in our private, charming, guest apartment located on the outskirts of Greenwich, New York just 20 miles from Saratoga Race Course and a lovely scenic drive to Lake George and Vermont.
Our cozy space includes 1 private bedroom with a queen size bed (linens included), a couch that can sleep an additional 2, TV, dining space and a complete kitchen.
Lounge on the spacious deck, fish, take a dip in the river and enjoy comfort of our cozy space!

*Small 4 burner oven and microwave

*Dishwasher (and detergent)
*Coffee Maker and Toaster
*Pots, Pans, Plates, Bowls and silverware... your basics :)!

In addition to the private living space, guests will have access to a spacious private deck surrounded by trees and are invited to enjoy the river and the riverside fire pit.
My wife and I live on the property but are happy to give you the privacy that you desire. We would be glad to answer questions that you have. We want you to enjoy your stay! Please also note that the river access is a shared space.
Greenwich is a lovely rural town in Washington County with plenty of beautiful country scenery for guests to enjoy. From farmlands, to rivers to the quaint village area, Greenwich has plenty to offer! We will leave our guests a binder full of information about some of our favorite places in the area including local restaurants and breweries!
In addition to being on the Battenkill River, we are a half mile walk from Reggie's Veggies where you may find fresh, locally grown vegetables, milk, eggs, cheese and maybe a donut or two on Sundays!
Many special events take place throughout the year in our area including: The Washington County Fair, The Washington County Cheese Tour, The Maple Tour, The Fiber Tour, The Tour of the Battenkill Bike Race and many more!
We are located in a very rural area so a car is definitely a must for getting around.
If you plan on enjoying the Battenkill River, please bring shoes to wear in the water. We want your feet to feel comfortable! :) IMPORTANT although very rare we cannot offer refunds if the fire pit area and river are not accessible due to flooding or fast moving waters. Path to the river is NOT plowed during winter.

Summary: This is such a peaceful setting. I felt like I was staying in the trees, yet the apartment was bright and had a nice breeze. There's a good side road for walks as well as the path to the river, and a lovely place to sit. Wonderfully equipped for all of the cooking I wanted to do.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at Marc and Liz's place, and we couldn't have been happier! From my initial inquiry, and throughout the booking process, Marc was prompt with his replies, and very helpful answering my questions! Their property is beautifully decorated, and it had everything we needed, plus a surprise...delicious homemade brownies upon arrival! With great weather, we loved sitting on the elevated deck listening to the birds; we even enjoyed breakfast sitting at the deck picnic table! If we ever have a chance to return to the area, we would most definitely book a stay here!

Summary: This little apartment is so pretty! Absolutely squeaky clean when we arrived and everything in pristine condition. It's not a huge space, but the owners have done an impressive job of designing the space and furnishing it in a manner that makes the rooms feel bright an open. Access to the Battenkill is a nice bonus. You know how you sometimes read reviews from travelers who say they will "definitely be back?" Do you find yourself wondering if those people ever did come back? This was our second stay, and we look forward to next year.
