Summary: The flat was so lovely and spotlessly clean. Danny the host was always available to help us with directions to local amenities. The flat was equipped with everything you can wish for and in the most beautiful countryside location. We are already planning to go back!

Summary: We went to the Kortekeer holiday home to go cycling, see the war memorials and the Flanders region. The apartment is lovely: very clean, comfortable and in a pretty location. Lots of room and would suit couples and a family. We highly recommend this property and the family are so lovely and helpful. Dank u wel de Demely family! Thank you for your warm hospitality. We will recommend to family and friends.❤️

Summary: Lets get any limitations out of the way. The inside stairs can be challenging but the pro's far outweigh any cons and only a bit of a challenge with luggage. Once you are up the space and rustic mod-con comforts are brilliant. We stayed during the last heatwave. It was hot at the top and with thr windows open the traffic noise plus some also from local industry was irritating. We would however return in a heartbeat. Why? Because the place works so well and the basic essential amenities are all there. Danny was very discrete but he and his wife were charming friendly and helpful. I got a parking fine the first day (the parking rules in Ypres are impenetrable) and having battled to pay it our host very obligingly sorted it. The apartment is very well located in Flanders Field with monuments and places of interest all around. The towns are pretty and the locals are so helpful. What more could you want? Well air con and a better inside handrail would be good. 9.6/10.

Summary: It is the perfect place if you are looking for easy and fast access to all of the WW1 memorials and sites in the region. We even drove to Oostende to see the fireworks for New Years Eve!

Summary: My family (my husband, son & I) came to visit the Ypres & Yser area to see the WWI museums & memorials, which was my son’s request for his 16th birthday. Upon arrival our hosts had a birthday card & chocolates on the table for my son. What a great personal touch! The location to the WWI sites was superb. The cleanliness & comfort was great. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

Summary: Beautiful place architecturally. Interior design and guest accommodation given great thought. Beautifully kept place and property. Ypres/Ieper short distance. If as in our case you wish to see WW1 and beautiful museums you are central to all. The land surrounding the area is gorgeous. A remarkable stay!

Summary: This property was immaculate, spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. The owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The property is very well located...only a few minutes away from Ypres and about 45 minutes from Bruges. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone traveling in this area.
