Summary: We had a wonderful experience at this property. Very friendly and helped answer our questions about the surrounding area. This property has a great 'vibe' and was exactly what we were looking for after having been in some larger Italian Cities.

Summary: The property has on the whole been brought up to a high standard but we found that the presence of mosquitos - and no screen on the window, or the vent in the bathroom, or on the door - meant that we either kept the door and window closed and sweltered, or we opened the window slightly and spent a proportion of the night killing mosquitos. Barberino itself is very pleasant, and has one very fine restaurant, and is convenient for seeing all the sights of central Tuscany. The mosquitos also prevented us from taking advantage of the terrace, as we were eaten alive when outside.

Summary: Luca met us at the house which had been stocked with water, juice , olive oil and wine which meant we did not have to go shopping.......... The house is ideal with everything you need including a garden where the sun comes round in the afternoon and is a sun trap. The house is located in a small village which is mid way between Siena and Florence so is ideal for seeing Tuscany but village itself has everything you need.
