It is a very comfortable holiday-home immersed in nature, surrounded by the many beauties of the Chianti region. It is close to Florence and Siena (approx. half an hour drive).
The ground floor consists of a sunny sitting and dining room next to the kitchen, overlooking the backyard. The entrance is thruogh a small garden.
The main bedroom with a small study, is located in the first floor, next to the bathroom with shower; the wooden stairs lead to the 'mansarda' that has a small and cosy bedroom.

Summary: Had a lovely stay at Poggio Borgoni - the setting is stunning and is very quiet. A great place to get away from the busy towns and cities to recharge and relax. The main room is good for two people to read, relax, write etc and there is enough of a kitchen to cook some simple dishes to avoid going out all the time. The ability do go for a walk amongst the vines and olive tree's each day was also lovely. The owners are lovely and welcoming people too - we didn't have a lot of interaction with them as we were doing our own things but they were very helpful when we needed something or advice. Would come again for sure.

Summary: "We spent two weeks in this holiday home and we are very satisfied! We really enjoyed the peacefull atmosphere of the tuscan country. Firenze is not so far from the house and with a car you can easily reach plenty of nice cities to visit. The holiday home is equiped with taste and the little garden in front of the olive-wood is very pleasant for the summer's evenings. The Rovidas are very welcoming and available as well as very tactful. And, if you want to taste also great olive oil and good wines this is definitively a good place to go..."
