Positive: The place was perfectly situated with a beautiful view, quiet and safe location. In apartment we had everything we needed and was very clean. The hosts took care of us, and was available whenever we needed. Truly recommend this place!

Negative: AC was only in the salon so it didn't reach our rooms, so nights were a little bit sweaty, but we managed with opened doors

Positive: This was an unbelievable property, a 4 flat with the owners living on the bottom level. The hosts were amazing and so friendly and offered up so many amazing suggestions. You could walk a half mile to the beach, drive 15 minutes to Old Town Split, walk to a bakery. The apartment was very clean and spacious and had an amazing view of the mountains.

Negative: The driveway was a little bit of a challenge for someone not as comfortable with a manual car. As time went on I got much better at it though. It was a tight, uphill road to the driveway.

Summary: Amazing and highly recommend this property, we would definitely go back!

Positive: It is spacious, clean, full of light. There are multiple grocery stores nearby and even the beach is 15 mins on foot. The host, Miroslava is friendly, attentive and responsive even late at night. We got fresh, tasty doughnuts and grapes from her parents. Her friend, Dario took us to a lovely town on a nearby island, then to a clean, yet not crowded bay to swim. He provided a sup and snorkeling glasses. He was flexible and friendly. I can only recommend Miroslava and Dario!

Positive: The size of the property was exceptional and very comfortable. Appliances in the apartment: washer, kitchen equipment, huge tv, AC, quality of internet.

Negative: The apartment was nice and clean upon our arrival (including beddings), except the floor - it was very dirty and dusty and we had to clean it up and mop it ourselves. It was sometimes not very comfortable to sort out of the parking, since to the 4 parking spots were only 2 entrances (one spot was always available for us). The location of the property in terms of beaches is only comfortable if you use your car. If you are intend to walk to the beach - you have to cross a multi lane highway road. Even though it has a traffic light - we were nearly hit by turning car. The local available beaches are overcrowded and it was extremely difficult to find a parking spot close to the beach. There are 3 main beaches available- 1. The main city - overcrowded and stony, but very clean (very hard to park the car close to it). No toilets are available . 2. South city beach - never had a chance to park a car close to it and use it - from the distance it looked stony and unbelievably overcrowded. 3. Sandy shallow beach to the north from the main city one. Easy to park and a lot of spots are available. Very shallow, but it was nice for kids. Quite dirty entrance to the water. It has a toilet and showers, and also changing cabins, but everything is very dirty. Close to it are sitting thousands of seagulls. Everything close to the beach more or less covered with their feces and feathers. There are also several wild small beaches to the south from the south city beach. We used them several times. It was ok to find a parking where, but please keep in mind, that the access to them is challenging - you have to go down of the rocky and very curvy hill, but it will let you to have a chance to avoid the crowd and to have some privacy. It almost always had waves.

Positive: The hosts were the best and most welcoming hosts we have come across by a country mile. We have never felt so welcome from the first second we arrived to when we left. Miroslava, Mila and Ubha were so friendly and welcomed us and treated us like we were family throughout our stay. I.E feeding us Croatian delicacies, recommending places to visit, feeding us vegetables from which they’ve grown in their own garden and even going so far as to drop us into town so we did not have to walk in the heat. I think a lot has to be said for the friendliness that these hosts displayed to make sure that our stay was as comfortable and pleasant as could be. They really did go the extra mile where ever they could. The best part was that they did it out of their own hearts, not because they are hosts but because they truly enjoy having company and sharing their love for Strobeć. Despite a slight language barrier it did not stop lots of lovely conversations with them and even their lovely neighbour Alenka. If I could I would be there now, while staying there you really do feel a sense of community and sometimes even feel like you are part of the community. Another thing which I feel is very important to mention is how beautiful the local area really is. The second you open the doors to your not only one but two balconies, you are greeted with a stunning Mountain View. With this paired with a 5 minute walk to the beach, makes this the ideal choice of stay. A long story short everything about this place is perfect. The hosts, the house, the location and much more, but if I were to continue writing, I would be here for a very long time. I hope to return very soon and see this beautiful country and these lovely people again. We are very thankful and confident that we could not find a better place to be in Croatia.

Positive: Nice apartment close to Split (easily accessible via bus), beach and good restaurants. Very friendly hostess who provided excellent tips and a welcome snapps with honey.

Negative: The apartment was on the top floor and therefore it is a bit hot to sleep at night. There is only airconditioning in the living room. Hostess considers to also add airconditioning in the bed rooms.
