Bring your family and friends. Enjoy a farm experience and relaxed countryside setting or hike to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the views and tranquility. There is wifi: 100 mb/s. We do not have regular cell phone service here in this area. And remember, when the electricity is out, every thing is out! (Does not happen often, but it can happen!)
Unwind in your own whole house five bedroom three bathroom dwelling on the in the side of the valley. Two car garage, fire place, and ping pong tables.
Relax and rest, you earned it, now enjoy it. AND, if you come in the fall, the leaves are spectacular here - and you do not have to fight the crowds in the Smokie Mountain tourist traps!
The hiking trail is flagged. Please check with host before hiking. More detail will be shared at that time.
We would like to see our guests as comfortable as possible. We will not visit or contact you except if you need us.
This is as country as it gets. This is a quiet valley in the Appalachian mountains. Hike up Powell mountain. Stop at the pond and fish for a while. Relax on the top of Powell mountain, breathe the fresh air, enjoy nature, stare at the amazing views from the top of the mountain. Hike down, then do it again tomorrow.
No public transit. Just small country roads. Drive slowly and keep right. Wave at the neighbors.
The trail to the top of Powell mountain is approximately 1 mile long one way and 1000 ft high in elevation. Check with host before hiking.

Summary: We absolutely loved the mountain home. There was plenty of room for our family of 9. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to use. The beds were comfortable. We utilized the beautiful front porch and fire pit. We loved hearing the cows. We were surprised by the fact you didn’t smell farm smells at all. The whole area was peaceful and allowed for multigenerational family bonding. It was within easy access of Sneedville and the beautiful Elrod Falls. The drive up to the home is picturesque and provides a great country drive.

Summary: Our son was getting married in the town over so we rented this property for ourselves & our kids & their spouses. The home was clean and exactly as described. We had a minor issue with the ac but the host was very responsive and had someone fix it quickly. We look forward to staying at this property again Tom & Estie was great host!

Summary: Plenty of room for a multi-family get together. The facility was clean, had lots of amenities, and it was very peaceful. The kids enjoyed visiting the cows and horse at the farm across the street. Tom and Estie were very responsive to our requests. The communication was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Summary: This property was absolutely perfect for our family get away! It was spacious and clean. Host was very responsive and accommodating for our family. It is well off the beaten path which allowed us to completely unplug! No cell phone service but great WiFi connection provided. We hope to visit again!

Summary: The house and property was absolutely stunning! We laid in the hammocks for hours talking and enjoying the views. Our host was very well at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. The house is exactly how it is pictured and described. We will most definitely be back!!! Summary: Very comfortable place to stay and great communication with the host. Found everything we needed and liked that it has a garage for the Jeep. Which we were glad we had as we toured the areas on very narrow and winding mountain roads. This area was so incredibly beautiful and sitting on the patio with a cup of tea allowed us city folk to unwind! Thank you for a great stay.

Summary: My co-workers were working nearby, and we really enjoyed returning to the place in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped and the porch was great. We accidentally locked ourselves out at one point, and the hosts were quick to help us out. We would stay again!

Summary: We were visiting family who live nearby. This is just like the pictures show. It is secluded and has all the comforts of home. There are a lot of extras in the kitchen that most places don’t provide. The furniture is comfortable, the view from the porch is so peaceful and relaxing. I have stayed here before and intend to return.
