Positive: +Quite location and amazing view towards San Gimignano +Beautiful privat garden and (shared) Pool (around the pool it could be tidied up a bit
Negative: Overall the apartment stayed behind our expectation - too expensive provided the multiple flaws we encountered (see below). Thus, we would not (recommend) stay at apt casaglia again: - It’s an old building. Hence, to a certain degree it’s normal that it smells wet/damp. However, in the basement (location of the bedroom) the smell was very strong. Especially in the small room where the second bedroom is located. - When we arrived the two beach chairs at the pool where broken. Thus, we needed to contact the property manager to point this out. To tell the whole story, we got two new chairs the next day (thanks again) - The Toilet on the first floor is leaking - The kitchen could be better equipped (eg only 3 wine glasses, a lot of pans that are mostly scratched but only one pot). The oven isn’t closing properly. Something the property manager was apparently aware and said it would be fixed (note, it wasn’t until we left) - No fans where provided - The windows/doors do not have mosquito covers. While there’re quite a few mosquitos around. Hence, letting fresh air in during the evening was a gamble 😉 -The furniture (eg couches) seen already better times Things to be aware of - The apartment is located in a building „complex“ with residents that live there permanently incl their children
Summary: Nice view/quite location; however, apt needs some „love“

Positive: Amazing scenery, really good and informative host with fast responses, the villa was really clean and beautiful with a lot of space, the garden was well kept. Would definitely recommend!
Negative: Do not trust Google maps, it will get you to take a loop through vineyards. We found the villa and the keys quite hard to find even though we got instructions by Whatsapp messages. The sofas were not so comfortable. The jacuzzi and the oven was not working properly but I think that they have repaired those already. With those finishing touches this will be the perfect accommodation!

Positive: it is a big apartment located on the hill 🔝 with a spectacular typical Toscany’s view facing to san Gimignano the apartment has everything a family needs for a quiet vacation. the self check in process was very smooth and easy due to the detailed instructions I’ve got from the owner. she was there for me 7/24 to answer any question and assist with solving an electrical incident even after midnight.
