Positive: Beautifully decorated apartment right in the centre of Perigueux. Alain and Cyrille were excellent hosts and took time to show us the apartment and pointed out places in the old town. The apartment was well equipped and little treats included. Merci Alain & Cyrille.

Positive: Alain and Cyrille met us personally at the apartment - so rare in these days of lockboxes and apps! They were so kind and full of useful information. The apartment feels as if a friend has gone away and left you their home while they are gone. There is everything you could need and more. The washing machine was useful and the airer too. It was September and the heating was on for us and worked well. The bed was comfortable, we liked eating at the table. I had a writing desk to write my diary and postcards. The apartment is very central, second floor and accessed by a lift. It is easy to stroll out and around the town. We came by car and it is a short walk uphill beside the cathedral from the free car park by the Quai. It does get full, but we found spaces around five pm when workers are going home. Alain and Cyrille have a whole cupboard of information - their own tiny tourist office - waiting for you. We can't thank them enough for the great stay we had.
Negative: Nothing against the apartment, just be aware if driving that the area is pedestrian. We arrived in the rain on a weekend when an event was on and could not find anywhere to stop. We parked in a disabled bay. I left my husband in the car and walked to find the apartment. Alain suggested parking in the paying carpark nearest to the apartment for the night - it is not expensive around €8 for 24 hours.

Positive: Alain and Cirylle were fantastic hosts, their apartments was very large and comfortable. Ideally positioned in the old town. They provided information and advice to enable us to make the most of a relatively short stay

Positive: The apartment was very well situated, really close to the cathedral on a quiet shopping street and only a 10 minute walk to the railway station. We were met at the apartment by the owners who gave us the keys and explained how everything worked. The apartment was really well equipped with everything that you needed to cook a meal and was very comfortable. I particularly liked all the original artworks on the walls, which made it feel much more homely than most rental apartments. The living room was huge, with a large dining table and lots of lamps which made it cosy at night. It also had a lift, which was great when we had our bags on arrival.
Negative: Nothing, we loved it.
