Very nice apartment of 55 m2, composed of an entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living dining room, a bedroom, a bathroom, WC, with private underground parking space under the building. This is really a plus when you know the parking difficulties in PERIGUEUX! During the week the free places in town are often full.
This apartment has been completely renovated and is equipped with every comfort.
Located in the city center, it is therefore close to all shops (Leclerc supermarket at 300 m), restaurants (including two Michelin stars), museums, medieval and Gallo-Roman sites and its marvelous Saint Front cathedral.
You can take long walks or cycle on the greenway that runs along the L'Isle River for several kilometers.
The historic districts will allow you to make splendid discoveries (Tour Mataguerre, rue Limogeanne, Place de la Clautre, mansions, etc ...)
In season many fun and cultural activities are offered (public concerts, jazz, gourmet markets, international festival of the same MINOS etc ...)
The markets will delight you with their numerous stalls of local products.

Summary: Splendid apartment in a decent location. The apartment block was very quiet. The style was unique as you can see from the photos, but very comfortable. Electric shutters all round made nights sufficiently dark and quiet. Ginette & Claude were lovely and extremely helpful, going above and beyond in explaining everything about the apartment and general area. We managed to get through the communication problems caused by my poor French.

Summary: A lovely and conveniently located apartment in Perigueux. ery well appointed and made for a carefree stay. A bonus was the underground parking, even if it was a little tricky to access.

Summary: Hosts were waiting to show us around the apartment and tell us how everything worked. Our host even drove into the garage to show us tricky areas. Pros- Very responsive hosts. Had a problem with the garage door opener. Our host came within 15 minutes to exchange it. The apartment is centrally located and easy walking distance to the old town, the old town market, grocery stores, etc. A rolling shopping cart in the apartment was very useful. Apartment is spacious, has a full-sized refrigerator with small top freezer, small dishwasher, kettle, old-style drip coffee maker, and full stove/oven. Garage meant no parking issues. Cons- There is an elevator, but there are about 5 steps into the building before you access it and it doesn’t go down to the garage, you have to exit the building, use the garage door opener, and walk to your car. Be sure to note location of light switches, as lights come on automatically, but are timed. Parking is tight, so a large car might pose a problem. We visited in winter - there is a regulator on the thermostat that prevents you from raising the temperature over a certain level. We didn’t complain, just used provided extra blankets and bundled up. Supplies are only provided to get you started- 1 roll of toilet paper, no coffee, no paper towels, etc. Internet was unreliable, sometimes working well, other times not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt that the apartment was a good value for the price. We would stay here again.

Summary: We stayed in the property in Jan 2024 and found it to be a wonderfully central location with easy walking access to the main market, boulangeries, supermarkets and cafe/restaurants. The apartment was clean and well presented and the hosts were lovely. Highly recommended.

Summary: A comfortable and well located apartment a few minutes walk from the old town. Ginette and Claude were excellent hosts who were prompt and took the time to show us the features of the apartment. All of the standard conveniences are included, although there is no AC, so good to shut the windows and shutters during the day. A note: For travellers with large vehicles (e.g. SUV), the garage entrance is a bit tricky. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Périgueux.

Summary: This is a beautiful apartment with charm and all the modern conveniences, well located in the heart of Perigueux. Perigueux itself has one of the most interesting archaeological museums in France as well as the old Roman site of Vesunna with a first century Roman domus containing some of the best preserved ancient frescoes and mosaics in France. The city is also centrally located in the Dordogne so travel to nearby areas is easy, e.g. to Vouvray for the wines, to Lascaux for the caves. The hosts couldn't be more hospitable and gracious. They met us on arrival at the door so we could easily access the parking garage, were helpful with suggestions about how to negotiate the city and what to see, and were especially about coming back to the aprtment when we had to return to pick up something we had forgotten.

Summary: A comfortable, well equipped apartment very close to the centre of Périgueux, literally only 5 minutes walk away. The apartment has it's own parking space in the secure underground car park, which is a god send as on street parking is limited and expensive. There is a well stocked medium sized supermarket within 5 minutes walk which has its own boulangerie that makes its own excellent bread. There are many different places to see nearby, too many for just a week's stay. The owners, M et Mme. Mansoy are extremely helpful and delightful people. The time spent at Périgueux was one of our favourite holidays.
