The "Rosmina" apartment is located and located on the first hill above Stresa (about 250 m) and has panoramic views over Lake Maggiore and the surrounding countryside and mountains. It is surrounded by a large, fenced garden and is only 1 km (5 minutes in the car, less than 10 minutes on foot via a private footpath) from the bustling town centre of Stresa. The location is very peaceful and quiet.
Stresa is 42 km (less than an hour) from Milan-Malpensa airport. From the end of March to the end of September there is a bus service called "Alibus" which takes you directly from Malpensa airport to Stresa. Alternatively, a taxi can be arranged for you (120 Euros single).
Its railway station connects you easily with Milan (45 mins fast train), where you can shop, sightsee, or simply sip a coffee and watch the world go by in the majestic Piazza del Duomo.
Stresa is the most popular tourist destination on Lake Maggiore and it's not hard to see why. With its beautiful lakeside promenade dotted with grand Belle Époque hotels and villas, its sunny beach and outdoor swimming pool (Lido Carciano), its delicious restaurants and little shops, many selling local products, its mountain walks and lake sports, there is something for everyone.
The town faces the famous Borromeo Islands of Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori so just hop on any ferry to discover the enchanting beauty of Lake Maggiore, its fascinating villas along the shore, the Piedmont towns of Arona and Intra and the picturesque town of Laveno nestled on the other side of the lake in Lombardy. You can even take a full-day boat tour all the way up the lake to Switzerland (Ascona and Locarno).
Less than an hour's drive away are the ski slopes and nature trails of the Mottarone mountain.
The Rosmina apartment has free Wi-Fi/Internet. Air-conditioning and heating are also included in the price. Garage and parking at the property ( (+ EV-charging point). On the balcony, you also have a power point to charge electric bikes. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is a lift.
The bright, spacious living room has been stylishly furnished and has a comfortable double sofa bed, satellite television and fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, microwave oven/ mini oven, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, electric coffee-machine) and dining table and chairs. It opens out onto a balcony with table and chairs where you can eat outside and enjoy the fabulous views over Lake Maggiore.
There are 2 double bedrooms (or two twin-bedded rooms). One bedroom has a balcony and lake view, the other has a view of the garden. It has 2 bathrooms with shower and bidet.
There is a separate utility room with washing machines, dryer and iron + ironing board on the ground floor of the residence for the guests to use.
The listed price is for 4 people; for each additional person it is 15 Euros per day, plus VRBO commission.
The apartment can sleep up to 6 people.

Summary: The apartment was well renovated and has a magnificent view of the lake and on the 3 islands. Wonderful. Walking distance to Stresa Centre via a private / public walking paths. Even for electric vehicles an ideal location: 2kW charger at the location and in 500m distance an Enel x-way 50KW DC charger. Giuliano is very kind and supportive. A perfect spot for a stay in Stresa.

Summary: Excellent property in a small complex of apartments with a wonderful view over Lake Maggiore. Property manager couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming! 5-10 minute walk down into the town. The walk back up was good for working off the inevitable ice cream!

Summary: Very comfortable apartment with view on lake, well located to visit the main attractions on the lake Maggiore. Large balcony and parking lot/garage are a plus. Giuliano was a great and very committed host. Suggestions of improvement for the apartment: hooks in hall and in bathrooms, toilet roll holder and more storage space in the bathrooms. The only negative point is the fact that we paid €2116,53 vs €1533,1 mentioned on our checkout invoice. Nearly one third difference - for commission by Abritel seems to us very exaggerated as the real estate agent did not do anything for us. Not sure we will book holidays stay via Abritel in the future because of that.

Summary: We were completely happy with the Fiorella apartment. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the view from the double doors in each room is beautiful. The owner is on site and was very helpful and friendly. Fiorella is a two-room apartment; one room has a king bed and the second room has a very cool, pull-down Murphy bed that was just as comfy as the bed in the bedroom. The interior design is very minimalist, which creates the perfect setting for the outstanding views of the lake.

Summary: Lake Maggiore is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. Our stay there was made even more special by staying in this newly remodeled and very comfortable apartment. Situated on a hill right on the outskirts of town, the quiet and convenience of being away from the crowds yet able to walk into town in just a few minutes gives it a perfect location. The views over the town and mountain surrounded lake from the apartment's patio are breathtaking! Anything we needed was provided to us promptly by the owner, Giuliano, who spoke perfect English and was very helpful in giving us information on restaurants and places of interest in the area. The apartment is honestly presented on the website. There were no "surprises" just pure relaxation and enjoyment. My wife and I are seasoned travelers and have been staying in apartments and homes internationally for over 10 years and highly recommend this apartment who want to enhance their experience when visiting the area.
