Positive: Beautiful villa and incredible location!!! About 10 minutes drive into Fiskardo, a couple of minutes walk down to the beach which was beautiful! It’s so peaceful, really quiet, an amazing base. The hosts were great, very helpful ☺️

Negative: Top room could get a bit hot at night.

Summary: Amazing trip would 10000% recommend!

Positive: Beautiful villa in the most tranquil, secluded spot. It suited our needs perfectly. Easy to find too if you just follow your Apple Maps.

Negative: The downstairs bed was very hard and there were hardly any glasses (only wine glasses and four pint glasses for our family of four). The air con upstairs was not very good either. But really, these are small things - it was lovely and we were very happy there.

Summary: Beautiful - we are already thinking of when we can return!

Positive: Architects Villa is the most beautiful traditional stone villa. We’ve just got back from an 11 night stay in July, two adults, one child (aged 5) and a baby and had the most amazing time. Our friendly host was at the property to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the property and gardens, and explained how everything worked, air con etc and even brought us local coffee, olive oil, eggs and yogurt which was so lovely that we had some supplies on hand. We were in contact with our host if we needed anything and had very quick and helpful responses. The villa was beautifully decorated, clean and stylish, Korres miniature toiletries in the bathroom were a lovely touch. Both beds were extremely comfortable and large, my husband is 6ft 2 and was comfortable in both beds. Our host came to change the linen and replace towels twice during our stay. The towels were lovely and soft also. There is one bedroom downstairs next to the toilet which is ideal if you can’t do stairs, and the second bedroom is upstairs and has a beautiful small balcony over looking the mountains and pool. The villa is so stunning with the olive green shutters and peaceful surrounding, we loved the goats passing by in the evenings the sound of the bells were charming. The pool is large enough for swimming, all 4 of us fitted in and could easily swim with ease. Any child visitors need to be weary of stones around the pool as they get slippery when wet, pool shoes for little kids would be ideal to bring if you have kids that want to jump in and out often. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, used the washing machine a couple of times which was really handy, a small dishwasher is available if needed, we cooked once in the stay and had everything in the kitchen that we needed. Lovely coffee machine (I’m buying one on return home!) kettle, microwave everything worked perfectly.

Negative: Faultless for us. I can understand why some reviews write about the shower dripping onto bathroom floor (I think this is very typical in Greek properties) if you are elderly and struggle with getting in and out of a bath it may be an issue, but just make sure you put down the bath mats underneath to soak up as much over flow as possible and supervise children getting in and out. Also follow the exact directions from host if driving to the property, we followed the wrong google maps that took us down a wrong road which was a dirt track down the side of the mountain so do not take this road!

Positive: We liked the privacy and remote location, although there was neighbours near enough not to be totally isolated. We liked goats wandering through the valley in their hundreds and the olive, lemon and lime trees that surround the house and access down a winding path to a small pebbly beach.

Negative: Could benefit from a couple of extra oven trays for families but otherwise very well thought out and everything where you’d expect it and whilst the mosquitoes do bite the owners have left multiple plugins and sprays and we left some citronella candles for eating out of an evening.

Summary: A charming authentic Greek hideaway….

Positive: It is beautifully kept and spacious for four. It is a very attractive looking property in a quiet location just next to little cove. The pool is beautiful. In easy reach in car to Fiskardo ( few miles). The Villa owners are very attentive and accessible throughout your stay. Mid week cleaning and linen change.

Negative: It could be too quiet for some.

Summary: We are a family with teenage daughters and we have had a fabulous time.

Positive: Very peaceful and beautiful location. Excellent for relaxing around the pool on a hot day. A car is a must. Taxi ride into Fiskardo only 10 minutes away (13 to 15 Euros each way, good availability). Bar and restaurant in the town good quality. Island is good for exploring; watch the narrow roads, lack of signs and safety barriers though. Highly recommended if you like peace and quiet. Very clean. Hosts very helpful especially Marilena. Thank you

Negative: The house has one bathroom only with a shower over bath. Inadequate for a holiday home; bath is narrow and the shower screen makes it very difficult to shower; floor gets flooded and slippery having to mop after each person has a shower. Also cooking equipment (pans, baking dishes) very limited if you are planning a dinner at home!
