Positive: The location was great, such a serene place tucked away by the lake. Lovely sunset/sunrise views from our room. The breakfast was great. Best buffet scrambled eggs I've ever had, cooked to perfection, and really high quality smoked salmon (not like store bought ones). Beautiful breeze coming through the window at night.
Negative: Although the breeze was wonderful, the window kept slamming shut overnight and this made for a stuffy room. You can ask for a fan but I didn't want to be a bad guest by calling anyone at 2am. Also, the shower is very small, hard to keep my hair from getting wet as the shower head hose was short and permanently afixed to the pole (why would you do that?). Also, no shelving so had to use the floor for storage, very hectic when you have to keep bending down while you're trying to keep your hair dry. For the hosts, attach a wall shelf in the shower. For guests, ask for fan even if you think you don't need one.
Summary: Great for a short and peaceful stay if you're passing through the Ardvreck area.

Positive: Hosts were really nice, friendly and informative. Accommodation was good and location was really nice. Breakfasts were delicious. Would recommend.
Negative: Shame that we didn't have a view from bedroom window. There was a common lounge though that provided the View.
