Positive: Being surrounded by nature and tranquility. Being woken up with the beautiful sounds of the variety of bird life and awesome view. Lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. Perfect place to relax and have a true vacation with no stress! Can't wait to return!
Negative: Everything was absolutely perfect. Just a small tiny thing.. Both reading lights affixed to the bedlamps did not work. However this did not affect my stay at all. Will go back 1000 times if I could.
Summary: How do you sum up such a unique place in one sentence? Nothing like it...one of a kind experience!

Positive: The setting is beautiful and our room was well appointed and comfortable.
Negative: On arrival the receptionist told us we couldn't have dinner. I had received mail that morning from you confirming our meal booking. She told us to go to George. I complained and she eventually agreed we could have chicken schnitzel, as everything else was frozen. Your menu states all food is cooked fresh... some bobotie was defrosted for my husband. Not what one expects from a 4* establishment. She was clearly not qualified for the post but the onus is on management. I felt sorry for her.
Summary: Poorly trained staff and disappointing restaurant.

Positive: We stayed here in Winter. Reception sent us a message while we were travelling to indicate that our room was ready and to welcome us. This was a nice touch. The location is near the strawberry farms and other farms. We knew we would not be in heart of George so we were prepared to travel to the sites. The resort is tranquil and lovely to hear the animal sounds from neighbouring farms. 1. Bedrooms x2, spacious main with balcony and movable heaters available. 2. Bathroom x2 bathrooms was great to have the extra bathroom. 3. Lovely rustic open plan kitchen and lounge with tv overlooking the mountain and trees. Equipped kitchen. 4. Braai facility on the deck. 5. Cleaning service each day which was included in the rate. 6. Staff were friendly and helpful. My daughters absolutely loved this place, nights were cold so we spend the nights indoors playing games and tv options were Netflix.
Negative: Things that I did not like was: 1. The shower was made of plastic material include the floor. I am used to tiled floor. 2. The road to resort is not tarred for about 2kms. 3. I would not recommend for family with very little kids for the staircase to the bedrooms. There was not much I did not like, all in all we would stay here again.
