Positive: Very near the old bazaar. Old building(1880 I think)so do be prepared for some steep steps. Lovely breakfast, usual Turkish fare plus fried puffy bread or omelette. Very helpful owner.

Summary: Safranbolu is a fairytale town, and this konak was part of the fairytale.

Positive: This is different kind of hotel comparing to most of other hotels we have been to. It is an old Ottoman style, traditional house, converted to the hotel. We felt that provision of required services, while preserving authentic facility was done very well, and we felt really nice. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Recommended if you look for and historic place with gorgeous nature arround
