Positive: Very near the old bazaar. Old building(1880 I think)so do be prepared for some steep steps. Lovely breakfast, usual Turkish fare plus fried puffy bread or omelette. Very helpful owner.

Summary: Safranbolu is a fairytale town, and this konak was part of the fairytale.

Positive: This is different kind of hotel comparing to most of other hotels we have been to. It is an old Ottoman style, traditional house, converted to the hotel. We felt that provision of required services, while preserving authentic facility was done very well, and we felt really nice. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Recommended if you look for and historic place with gorgeous nature arround

Rooms: The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining traditional Ottoman charm with modern comforts. My room was clean, spacious, and filled with character. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. Service: The hospitality at Arifbey Konak was exceptional. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Safranbolu’s old town, within walking distance of many historical sites and attractions. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area’s unique architecture and picturesque streets.
