Shingle-style, 2533 square foot, split-level, lake house on one-acre wooded lot. Upper floor with all hardwood flooring,large family room with half bath, kitchen, dining area, laundry, two bedrooms each with private bath, and screened porch with swing, large open deck. Lower floor with stained concrete flooring has game room (table tennis, 42 inch TV) flanked by two bedrooms each with private bath. A perfect place to unplug.

There is a large sectional in the main room downstairs. Property borders 200 feet of lakefront at a soft shale beach. Only 50 yards from lake. This is a relaxing retreat with lake views from every room, especially each bedroom.
There is not a private boat dock;however slips at nearby marinas are available for short stays.

Boating and sailing available from nearby marinas. Golf and fine dining at nearby Red Apple Inn. Hike up Sugar Loaf Mountain in middle of lake. Surrounding is world-class hunting, fishing (trout below Greer's Ferry Dam on Little Red River). Blanchard Springs Caverns and Ozark Folk Center are one hour north in Mountain View.

Summary: We stayed over Labor Day Weekend for much needed time away and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house was charming and very well stocked. The view was ideal and host was a delight. Will definitely stay again!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here. Nice beds, good water pressure and plenty of space to spread out. We used both grills they worked great. Enjoyed our evenings on the deck. The walk up from the shale beach was kind of a climb for us older folks but the kids didn’t mind it at all.

Summary: Let me say this to start, Overall the house and the ease of checkin and checkout was awesome. The location was a bit remote but that's not the owners fault. 5 stars on that part of it. My wife and I took the bedroom closest to the kitchen. We loved it at first sight. Only one issue, the mattress was as bad as I've seen. It's a bit odd to have spent so much on a house and have a cheap or old mattress. We were tempted to move to one of the downstairs bedrooms but it had a musty smell to it. Very dissapointed in those two aspects of the property. The upstairs living area was incredible. High ceilings and open air concept. One suggestion, put a TV up there. The downstairs TV was cheap and small and the HD was sketchey. One of the things that attracted us to the property was the close proximity to the lake. It would have been nice if there had been a trail down to the lake. I know it is a Core lake with restrictions on what can be done but it needed something. Overall it was a wonderful place, just a few tweeks and it would have been perfect.

Summary: House is much nicer than the pictures even show it. Very high white line so not a great view of the lake. We were able to park our boat on the shale beach which was very nice. Kitchen is very small but well appointed. Overall I would definitely recommend this property if you have two families.

Summary: All of us enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The pictures do not do justice to this peaceful place and setting. The beach is great to walk along and admire the beauty surrounding the lake. Listening to the waves at night is very enjoyable. The house has everything needed to make any kind of meal. We couldn't find a check out process so we just followed other check out rules. Communication was fast. This unique space and the screen porch made it a joy for us all. If you are looking for peace relaxation or a place to have fun with the family this is a great location. Thank you

Summary: My family and I travel to Heber every year to visit with family. This year we were unable to stay in Heber. We came across this property rental and liked it a lot. The house is absolutely amazing with its location and peacefulness. This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The deck on the house was fantastic for hanging out and entertaining. All the beds were comfortable With plenty of pillows and bedding. I would highly recommend staying at this property and look forward to staying there again next year myself. The driveway is very steep. It is not a big deal for a normal vehicle but if you plan on bringing a boat just be aware that is hard to turn around in the driveway. There were several lake toys in the garage which the kids really enjoyed Being able to use. The black shale beach was very interesting. My family and I really enjoyed it as well. Overall this property was fantastic and the homeowners do a great job of keeping it up to great standards.
