Positive: Amazing views from the deck outside the bedroom. Beautiful gardens around the building and secure parking Lots of snacks provided by our host on our arrival which was very helpful, since the property is some distance from food shops.
Negative: Catering facilities were very limited in a very small lobby to the room. It was the most expensive place we stayed in Canada by some margin. Described as being just outside Ganges but it was up quite rough roads and about 900 ft above the town. (8 km drive)

Positive: The views were amazing
Negative: It was not kept up, the amenities were not good quality for the price of 300.00 US per night. Not at all what I would expect for a single room. The owner was kind and helpful and the view was stunning but the property is falling into disrepair. Also the foods offered such as oatmeal packets and cookies take no advantage of the gourmet foods available on the Island but were quaker and nothing special.
Summary: I enjoyed Irene, she was doing her best. The prices are way too much for what is offered.

Positive: A bit out of the way but once you walk into the room and open the drapes to look at the view you forget about the drive to get there. Owner was hospitable rooms were very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend but it is a bit of a drive up gravel road to get there.

Negative: getting there was difficult. There is no actual address on the confirmation sheet. We had to assume that we went via Dukes road, but that was difficult to find and the turn off to Armand Heights road was poorly identified. We would not have found the way if it had been dark.
