Summary: Lovely boutique hotel and great location in Viejo San Juan but beware of the street noise. The room that we had (S204) had a nice Juliet balcony over the main steet that was active and busy all night and early morning. The problem is the that the balcony had ill fitting wooden shutters doors that didn’t block the sound at all. Since they are solid wood they also do not provide any daylight so the room has no natural light and no noise abatement. An easy fix with better doors but that is not the case here. The hotel and room are very modern and showcase newer features while maintaining the Old San Juan feel but beware of your location if you wish to sleep. Earplugs helped. Other small issues included a lack of a shelf or basket in the modern and clean shower. Sounds like a small thing until you realize that you have to open the shower door to grab the soap or shampoo off the sink while flooding the bathroom floor or become a contortionist and bed over in the small shower to place them on the ground. Simple things that seemed overlooked.

Summary: The hotel was better than expected and is in a fantastic location. Parking is a short walk from the hotel and the staff will hold your bags for you while you go park your car. We had such a great time that we extended our stay an extra day and the hotel staff was very accommodating for the change. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again!

Summary: I appreciate the cleanliness and the freshness feel after a day spent walking in the heat, just a bit noisy, I was able to hear people talking next door and heard pigeon's, the noise sounding coming from the ceiling vents (stayed on the third floor). Other than that, staff are very friendly and helpful.

Summary: Nice, very spacious, clean room overlooking the park. Bathroom nice, clean with shower only. Quiet. Great location and easy to walk to ANYTHING in Old San Juan.

Summary: Secure, well maintained, nice location in Old San Juan. The room was clean and comfortable. I knew there would be no window, and it felt fine - I actually chose that because other reviews warned of street noise and I wanted good rest. However, my room, 108, was right next to a stairwell that had a loud pump or motor that kept turning on, intermittently, all night. I slept with ear plugs but it was still loud and disruptive.

Summary: Clean room, friendly and attentive staff that gave us great restaurant recommendations. Air conditioning worked. Beds were comfortable and room had the amenities we needed. The water pressure was not the best and scarce hot water.
