Aruba Villa Tropical is described by many travelers as well as locals as the premier vacation rental property on the island. This home is fully air-conditioned and privately situated on nearly three acres of gardens and fruit trees to enjoy. Our location is very private with only one neighboring home. Features include a European style gourmet kitchen, 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, a private natural stone pool and waterfall surrounded by mature garden, a regulation sized beach sand volleyball court, entertainment gazebos, ping-pong, foosball and other games. Enjoy the day sunbathing by the pool on the comfortable lounge furniture. Listen to the tropical birds while you admire the fantastic ocean sunsets from the infinity hot-tub or from the large palapa gazebos while you and your family enjoy an evening meal. The home in equipped with new smart TV's in every bedroom along with Apple TV streaming devices and Sonos sound-bars and speakers throughout the home as well as a brand new smart tv/Sonos sound-bar outside on the terrace.
In our lower garden we have an amazing orchard that is always producing mango, papaya, coconut, lime, nipper, starfruit, banana, as well as other fruits. Our guests are welcome to consume as much as they would like.
The large master has a king sized bed, walk in closet, dual walk in shower. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and a shared continental bath. The office/bedroom has a Queen bed and private bath. A smaller bedroom has a queen bed as well as private bath. The layout of the home has two bedrooms on one side of the house and three bedrooms on the other side. It is very accommodating for two entire families or up to 5 couples with this arrangement with the kitchen and high ceiling living areas in the middle of the home.
We provide a limited supply of beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and portable coolers for guest use at the beach.
We have modified our cleaning fee to only include the move-out cleaning and to keep costs the most economical as possible. Daily or other scheduled housekeeping can be arranged prior or upon your arrival. Our co-host and concierge Kathy will contact you shortly after your booking to inform you of the various services available including spa services, private chef services, excursions, rental car, party/wedding planning, housekeeping, and dinner reservations.
We have been kicking it in Aruba since 1999 and have put our love into this home. We spend 30-60 days each year here and are constantly maintaining and updating this wonderful home and grounds. Parties, weddings and other events are permitted but only upon approval and additional cost. Most events have a charge of $1500.00.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Though we have a strict cancellation policy, we always try to work to reschedule your stay in the event of unforeseen traveler circumstances. To mitigate risk of cancellation travel insurance is highly recommended as well as very economical.

Summary: This property is truly amazing! We spent our entire week lounging around the pool, the hot tub and under the shaded gazebos. What a relaxing time. Can’t wait to schedule our return trip! ps- many thanks to Ed, Kathy and Katherine who were available for our local questions and helped us with bookings of tours and anything & everything else we needed. Summary: 6 adults stayed for 7 nights. There was plenty of room and online pictures are very accurate. The planning, arrival, stay and departure were great from concierge to airport transportation. I would highly recommend this Villa. Plenty of games, like billiards, darts and volleyball to keep everyone busy.

Summary: When my wife and I came to Aruba on our honeymoon 20 years ago, we vowed to bring our children back with us. We'll, we did just that and decided to bring other family and friends and needed a big place to handle our crew. Villa Tropical fit the bill very well. Kurt the owner was very pleasant and helpful to work with. He put us in touch with our concierge Kathy whom I can't say enough good things about. She's family now. She was able to help us out in several areas of our trip including connecting us with Donna our vow renewal planner and coordinator. Renewal ceremony was more than we could've hoped for down to every detail. The house and grounds were gorgeous. Well kept and the space fit our crew well. We were able to spread out and not feel cramped. The pool was fantastic and we all found our favorite areas to hang out. Location of the house was great also. Very short drives to stores, and Palm and Eagle beaches. Overall I can't say enough good things... was it perfect? No. As with any heavily used property there are always little things, but none that really negatively affected our experience there at all and were addressed quickly. Everything was clean and ready to go for us when we arrived. To everyone at the property, we say thanks for the memories...

Summary: We rented February 2020 for 5 days. Did to the house description and pictures posted we decided to not get a hotel on the beach and rent this for a family. BIG mistake. The description says “3 mins from beach, beach views, very private property “. Not one of those statements are true. There is nothing private about the property. It’s off a run down side road which anyone can access. No gates, nothing. It’s a 10 minute drive to the beach without traffic and there is definitely city views, zero beach views. However those wearnt the major issues. The first day we go out to the pool and all a sudden 2 stray dogs come over and scare the crap out of my sister and kids. (I have pictures). The backyard has a lot of junk around and mosquitoes are plentiful. The house inside is dated and 2 bathrooms showers are awful. The beds are very uncomfortable and good luck sleeping in with the lack of blackout shades , dogs barking and even roosters. We pre paid for a cook to cook the first night and he was great. Unfortunately with the house and dogs we changed our itinerary and bought day passes to the Riu to get away. It’s a house if you want to party with a lot of friends. No luxury whatsoever even though it’s claimed to be a top ten house in Aruba. LOL. I don’t wanna see house #11 then! Javier is the keeper and nice but comes and goes whenever he wants and speaks very limited English. Again no privacy. One day the girls took our car to the beach, I stayed behind. All a sudden there are 5 complete strangers with Javier in the kitchen and living, backyard for a house tour!! Unacceptable. No notice or anything. Our valuables were on counters and again no privacy. Nothing was stolen but I was in shock you pay high dollar for a house and strangers come inside. I told the owner all this and unfortunately he makes excuses or just denies things. There is black mold in the guest bathroom and a lot on the outside patio. (I have pics). Do yourself a favor and rent a hotel on the beach. It will be cheaper, a lot better accommodations and most importantly safer. Others need to know the truth. I wish we did!

Summary: We really enjoyed the house with our family! House was plenty big for our family that visited. House was clean and everything we needed. We all had a super great trip! We had Diego cook us dinner and it was FANTASTIC!

Summary: Way are a family of nine and went to celebrate 2020. The house sits up on a hill and we were able to see more fireworks thing you can ever imagine on both sides of the island. We also had a birthday celebration and Diego made us the most incredible meal and served us outside under the gazebo. It was our favorite meal while on vacation. The pool is beautiful and refreshing and they keep it super clean. There are waterfalls coming down into the pool and it is just so relaxing. We enjoyed the home very much. Thank you!

Summary: We had a wonderful time here at Villa Tropical. When we first arrived, we were not sure it was as we expected. The hot tub was being repaired and place smelled like cigarettes. After calling the owner we found out that there had been a wedding there and Javier was in the mists of cleaning up. He assured us that it was not always like that and it would be addressed. In half hour, there were people cleaning the grounds and helping Javier fix the hot tub. The gardens were in bloom and the birds were great to watch. The little lizards kept my grandson busy all day. The pool was amazing after a hot day at the beach. The house is in a central location, so you could head to a different beach every day, and one of the main food stores is two mins away by car. It was great to have washer and dryer at the house as well. The stereo both by the outdoor table and pool table worked great. We would recommend this villa to any large family. It had plenty of room both inside and out to enjoy. Thank you Kurt and Javier for a great vacation.
