3 Bedroom Cabin in Canton

Our cabin has been a peaceful family home for over 25 years up on the mountain overlooking Mt. Pisgah in the Cold Mountain area of Pisgah National Forest. Away from it all close to everything! We own15 acres extending from our cabin down the mountain to the scenic NC highway that leads to the Blue Ridge Parkway...... insuring privacy. We have lots of living space, 3 great bedrooms and a huge deck. Since we are only 12 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, there are always plenty of things to do nearby...Sliding Rock, Cradle of Forestry, Mt. Pisgah, Awesome hiking, The famous Davidson River for Fly Fishing, Looking Glass Falls, Waynesville, Brevard and Maggie Valley are all nearby. Antiquing, Farm to Table, Thrift shopping, zip lining, tubing, kayaking, white water rafting and more! Springdale Golf Resort at Cold Mountain is within 2 miles and open to the public......35 minutes to Downtown Asheville. We love this location because you can get pretty much anywhere fun within 30 minutes. Wouldn't trade it for the world!

Summary: Stayed with my family of 5 (3 children) and we had a blast. The place was fully equipped, clean, and spacious with a beautiful view from the deck. Close to lots of outdoor activities as well! We really enjoyed it...thanks!

Summary: This trip was just what the doctor ordered. The view is gorgeous and easily enjoyed from the big porch that has plenty of comfortable seating and room to share with friends. We were able to enjoy the outdoors all day from sunup to moonset from the porch and surrounding well-kept grounds. The house itself is welcoming and well-equipped and we were all very comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone seeking peace and quiet with the option of myriad things to do if you so desire.

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful stay at this comfortable cabin. It was fully furnished and felt like home away from home. The view from the porch was fantastic and we spent hours relaxing here and watching the birds.

Summary: Beautiful large deck with a large table and many chairs and a swing for outdoor seating. The deck is covered so you can enjoy sitting outside even if it's raining. The touristy towns of Asheville and Brevard are a bit of a hike, about 50 minutes drive to either, so don't plan a lot of back and forth to the towns. Pisgah National Forest is close by with popular attractions like Looking Glass Falls (amazing swimming hole) and Sliding Rock. It's about 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I recommend going south for jaw dropping scenery. The cabin is cozy with good sized beds and bedrooms and a full kitchen so it's a very convenient place to just hang back and relax if that's what you seek. (Yes, the road up to the cabin is a primitive gravel road for about a mile but you have to be a die hard city slicker for that to bother you).

Summary: This house has a spectacular view which our family enjoyed for meals. The owners are very friendly and left every kind of spice for cooking one would want. If you have small children, you need to watch them carefully out on the balcony as they could slip through the rails. Negotiating the road was difficult for us, as it is unpaved gravel and narrow.
