Summary: Beautiful house that has everything you need to have a cozy experience on the mountain. I do wish I got to spend more time at the cabin because it had plenty of games, movies, and a hot tub! Just a heads up, this has nothing to do with the owner of the beautiful property, but just know the drive up was filled with political signs going up the mountain passing other homes. It was a little frightening to see but once we got on our own road everything was fine.

Summary: It was such a beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend going there with your partner as it’s a very romantic place to stay with the hot tub and the view of the stars at night. The only thing I will say is bring the proper car as the ride up to the place can become dangerous with you car potentially getting stuck at the way up. The location of the place was very convenient as well as it was still a close enough drive to go to Asheville to enjoy the breweries there. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others if they were to make the trip to the area as well. The hosts had great communication and the place in itself was very clean.

Summary: We traveled from Kansas City for our honeymoon and the listing was exactly as shown. Beautiful outlook, house was clean, well established and maintained. You definitely need AWD as that last part of the drive up is gravel. We will be back again!

Summary: We stayed at the Blue Sky for 10 days and it was beyond words! Breath taking! Surreal!! Paradise!!! The drive way up is a lil bumpy bit it was all part of the adventure!!! Once you get to the top, it's like you are transported to another world. The hot tub was great and adds to the dreamy feel you get on top of a mountain! Sun rises are GORGEOUS and worth capturing!!! ✨️

Summary: The pictures are accurate... when you get to the top of this hill, the views are immaculate and the cabin is absolutely adorable. We have a V6 VW Atlas and were unable to climb the hill. The hill is steep but that wasn't the biggest problem, it was the looseness of the gravel - likely exacerbated by a stretch of dry weather. We couldn't get hold and so had to park about 1/4 mile down the hill and hike up every time we got back. It was tough, especially with a baby, and a bit scary in the dark, but otherwise fine. I wouldn't attempt this again without a Pickup truck / Jeep Wrangler type of vehicle. It was additionally stressful that when we called our POC at 4 PM (checkin time) with our issue, we didn't hear back until the following morning. After that, communication was excellent. If you can get past that, the place is super cool and you should check it out. Really close to Asheville, Biltmore, etc... feels "off the grid" ... and still has modern home amenities.
