Summary: The staff had tips about local restaurants, which we appreciated. The small balconies offer a view of the waves from the sides of the building. The hotel is on the beach, which is convenient, and staffers will put up free umbrellas and chairs.

Summary: We booked 2 rooms across the hall from each other. We arrived early and were told the rooms weren’t ready. We waited over an hour and were given the keys to one room at 3:45 pm. We then watched as 3 people cleaned the other room. Check-in was supposed to be by 4pm. The other room wasn’t ready til after 5 pm! We were never contacted by text or phone so we went to the front desk to get keys. The woman at the desk lied to us and said that room was ready at 3:45! We suggested some sort of compensation should be given and she said to contact the third party that we booked through. What a way to begin our vacation! Her attitude was definitely in need of some customer service training , along with honesty and integrity.

Summary: Great location. Service was excellent. Get an umbrella and chair from staff made us feel special. We would have added an extra night they were fully booked.

Summary: Overpriced outdoor food & drinks. Kids mac n cheese was terrible. Don’t expect to sit on deck, so small not even 1 chair will fit! Sliding glass door lock broken as well as bathroom lock. Front desk would not issue shower curtain in bathroom with tub with shower curtain rod. Ice machines broken. Non smoking not enforced with pot smoking daily setting off smoke alarm, shutting down elevators when guests were trying to check out. Pool drained so no swimming. Finally pool open but staff began using shop vac inches from pool with guests in. No microwaves in rooms. Housekeeping finally got to clean my room at 6 pm. I would avoid this place till they get their act together. Tv broken staff fixed but broke again. Wondered why front desk never asked our group how their stay was, don’t think wanted to know. Lobby and rooms are updated but so much else needs attention.

Summary: Ashore was a nice place to stay. I recommend floors 12 and up for a great view! The only thing keeping me from giving it excellent reviews is 1. No microwave in the room. 2. The ice and vending is sparse and only on a few floors and their appearance needs to be improved. One was actually filled with a puddle. 3. Parking was frustrating. Free parking = people accessing the beach parking there making it hard to find a spot. Valet would be nice.

Summary: Excellent location and ease to the beach. The rooms have side view of the beach. We could have used some more information in the room about the amenities in the resort. We had to search on our own. Menu for the restaurants would be helpful.

Summary: It was okay, room was dirty nothing was wiped down. Spent the first 20 minutes wiping the table, sink ect. Sheets were diety, looks as though they werent even changed. Had a hard time getting new sheets and more wash clothes since they were used to wipe things down.

Summary: Hotel substantially upgraded from the Clarion days, but, fell short with small items like being able to provide foam pillows for our room. Told that they had no additional pillows anywhere in the hotel. For paying a rate of over $300 I found this to be unacceptable. Great dining experience at the Tides

Summary: Suite was in between a noisy pool and common area. Suite was a cheap attempt to makeover an old hotel. Room lacked correct qty of towels, bedding and pillows. Neither room phone or main number will connect you to the main desk, it seems deliberate. So as soon as we checked in i had to go back to the main desk to get them. The most absurd part of this hotel is they do a horror movie in the common area with a blasting sound system until nearly midnight. When we complained to the front desk about how it was keeping us and our kids awake all night they said there was nothing they could do. There were about 3 people watching this thing at the expense of most adjacent guests, just rediclous. Could not find any towels at the beach or pool for our stay and both the pool and restaurant were filthly. So much for the daily "resort fee" they extort from you. I strongly reccomend you consider a different hotel if you are visiting ocean city. Never in my life would i imagine staying in one of the most expensive hotel suites at the hotel would have such a negative experience. We will never be returning.

Summary: Fairly decent hotel. Room was clean but a little more sparse than expected. We really enjoyed the beach services provided. There was an unexpected extra nonrefundable fee of $35 or so when I checked in, which was frustrating - luckily I had booked at a low room rate which offset this a bit.
