Positive: Beautiful views! Amazing to wake up every day and look out over the Marmara and end the day with a glass of wine or tea on the gorgeous balcony. Aslan and Gulnar were amazing and communicative the whole way! Check in and check out was so easy and nice and they are wonderful people. As others have stated, it is a fifth floor walkup. This wasn't a surprise when we booked (it says it in the description) and there is nothing the hosts can do about the construction of a building! However, if you're not in good shape or have mobility issues, you should be prepared! The area is top notch and near all the attractions for "first timers." I REALLY appreciated the book they put together with recommendations, warnings about certain things, and sights to see! The place is absolutely lovely and we look forward to booking when we come to Istanbul again!

Positive: The view was lovely, the person who greeted us didn't speak English but Aslan did and he was on the phone so everything went smoothly. I appreciated the booklet and the information sent to us before arrival. All the facilities were really good.
Negative: The entire building has Aslan apartments. We were on the second floor and the stair wasn't a problem for us but I can understand it may be an issue if you're on the top floor.
Summary: Good spot, comfy, quiet yet very central if you're staying near the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque

Positive: Its near everything you want in Sultanahmet, very classic place and if you like classic things it will be the perfect place to stay, but if you prefer modern places so i dont recommend it for you.
Negative: The stairs! Giving the fact that Istanbul is not flat and you need to climb the narrow streets to reach the place, you still need to climb the stairs to reach the apartment

Positive: Very good location, good apartment, clean and nice. Walking distance to the Blue Mosque. Aslan is willing to help at any time.
Negative: It is very difficult to park the car, looks like everyone have the same problem.

Positive: We traveled with our 1,5 year old and stayed in the penthouse apartment. The location was great, very close to the Grand Bazaar and in walking distance of most great attractions. The apartment was comfortable and very well equipped. The spacious balcony has an amazing unobstructed view over the Bosphorus and was great for relaxing in the evening without disturbing the baby after she went to sleep. And yes, it is a 4th floor with no elevator, but honestly the stairs were not that bad and we were climbing them twice a day with a baby (but we do have a lightweight compact stroller). If visiting Istanbul again, would love to stay here again.
Negative: The one thing I would change is the room curtains to some black-out ones to keep the room dark, specially in the summer time when the sun raises early.

Positive: Second time staying here: comfortable, clean, good location yet quiet, beautiful view of sea of Marmara and Princes Islands. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.
Negative: Needs night light above front door of building for those arriving after dark, but nothing to do with the accommodation itself.
