Fully modernised cottage set in beautiful rural island landscape with far reaching sea views. Original part of the house containing the 2 downstairs bedrooms is over 200 years old with very thick stone walls.
Master bedroom with double bed and built in wardrobes. Second twin bedroom also with built in wardrobe.
Family bathroom, with bath and overhead electric shower and heated towel rail.
Large country Kitchen with farmhouse dining table comfortably seating 8. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine plus seated area with tv.
Upstairs there is a large open plan living room which has expansive panoramic views of open countryside and out to the Treshnish Isles. There are two leather sofas where you can sit and relax with fine island malt. One of which folds out for an extra double bed.
There is a log burner for keeping cosy in the evenings a
TV with dvd player and freesat. Free wifi is also provided.
The cottage is fully heated and provides ample hot water.logs and kindling are supplied. There is a travel cot and high chair if required.
Outside there is a large landscaped garden and off-road parking for 2-3 vehicles.
Change over day is Sunday arrival from 14:00 and departure 10:00

Summary: Excellent locations and surroundings. The wildlife that passed by made it feel like we were in a de-luxe hide. Very spacious and even more spacious than expected as there was only two people. Noticed that the accommodation was dog friendly. Apologies, for leaving some items in the fridge, as the severe weather at the end of our holiday meant that we had to vacate a little early.

Summary: This must have been the most wonderful cottage we have ever been to. A very spacious kitchen which had everything you could need, two nice bedrooms and a beautiful livingroom with two large windows facing west to admire the sunsets over the sea and the Treshnich Isles. A stunning garden, surrounded by sheep:), beautiful beaches only a short drive away and not even a ten minutes walk to the next pub and shops. The landlord and his family are very nice and helpful. Just perfect!!!

Summary: Lovely cottage, well-provided, with beautiful surrounding scenery and ideal for access to glorious beaches, wonderful walks and Fionnphort for Iona. The unusual layout, roadside situation and fragile fencing were very minor inconveniences, but dogs better kept on leads at all times in the garden.

Summary: Very spacious with a nice garden. Comfortable bed too. The upstairs lounge is lovely and airy with lots of light coming in. Lots of places to explore in the vicinity. Iona was a beautiful island to visit with exquisite beaches. A boat to Staffa and Lunga is a must, brilliant.

Summary: Excellent property with plenty of space and very well stocked kitchen, shame there was no dishwasher. For our inquisitive small dog the garden could have had better fencing. Otherwise everything was perfect and we had an extremely comfortable week. We even had great weather!

Summary: This was our first visit to beautiful Mull.... And will definitely not be our last. Assapol Cottage was the perfect base for us.... Spacious, homely and kitted out with everything we needed. The owner and the Mull based property minder went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect stay... THANK YOU both. We will definitely return to Mull and if available will definitely stay at Assapol Cottage again.

Summary: We loved staying in this home-from-home cottage. Lots to explore locally (we spotted white tailed eagles circling off the coast of Bunessan, a 10 minute walk from the cottage) and Mull is fantastic for walking, wildlife spotting and adventures. Cottage was comfortable and fully equipped for a family of four.

Summary: The cottage is the best equipped, warm, spacious holiday rental we have encountered in decades. Stunning scenery and garden with 10 x min walk to local Spar for any much needed items. We love Isle of Mull and were not disappointed as we watched otters playing in the loch, juvenile white tailed see eagle flying over head near Pennyghall and 3 x stags near Carsaig. Magic of Mull from this location is more than worth the time to get here. Highly recommend this cottage and the info that the owner sent beforehand.
