Positive: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Atha Resort. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that feels worlds away from the crowds. It was the perfect place to return to after a day exploring the cultural sites around Sigiriya. What stood out most was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and genuinely committed to making guests feel at home. Their hospitality added greatly to the overall experience. The Sri Lankan breakfasts were a particular highlight. Fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared, they provided a wonderful introduction to local flavours and were something I looked forward to each morning. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing resort with lovely gardens, excellent hospitality and authentic Sri Lankan breakfasts, I would happily recommend Atha Resort.

Negative: A small information guide or brochures outlining local attractions, tours and experiences like ayurveda treatments would be helpful for guests unfamiliar with the area. An additional chair in the room would also make the space a little more comfortable for longer stays.

We loved the tranquil garden setting & being only 12 rooms we were incredibly well looked after by entire team & nothing was too much trouble. The Sri Lankan breakfast platters are also unbelievably good & changed daily.
