Positive: We have been coming to the Atlantic View Hotel for many years and enjoyed it. It is now better than ever! The patio has been newly furnished and extended. There are fire pits to keep you warm on a cool night. Comfortable lounges are also available for family and friends to enjoy their meals together with relaxed conversations. Beautiful yellow umbrellas are over the chaise lounges with a towel provided at the pool. The first floor rooms have added privacy and views of the natural grasses and flowers has been enhanced. The rooms have been modernized with large walk in showers and pocket doors. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The room balcony now has a counter table. Cold and hot breakfasts are provided as well as savory and sweet treats, iced tea and alcoholic beverages in the evening. Everything has been updated from the inside out. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The accessibility to the beach is excellent with towels and chairs provided. The entrance to the hotel lobby has been enhanced by a ramp and automatic doors. The parking lot now has electric car chargers and a beautiful wooden fence and lighting. The Atlantic View Hotel is aesthetically very pleasing and is a wonderful getaway destination.

Negative: My two biggest things would be that there is no elevator and no microwave in the rooms.

Positive: The oceanfront location was great & large rooftop deck was a great place to hang out.
Negative: No elevator was annoying as our room was on the top floor. The bathroom in the room was so tiny that it was hard to move around & close the door. Breakfast could have been better stocked.
Summary: All in all it was a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly & helpful & location was great.

Negative: The receptionist on the afternoon shift on Sunday September 8,she call me like crazy and live a voicemail saying my credit card was denied and call me immediately your card has been denied maybe you don’t have found in your card,that was unnecessary came down and put the same card on file and payment was made

Positive: We liked the staff, free beach chairs and towels, coffee and food and cookies at night.
Negative: I didn't like how the room really needed a good cleaning. Table, chairs, pictures, they all needed a good cleaning. There was a layer of dust and dirt on things that aren't touched or used daily.
Summary: We would stay here again but I would continue to use my own disinfectant wipes.
