Positive: We had a lovely stay in Au Nid des Champs. We had stayed there a number of times when it was run by the previous owner, Sylvie, and had always had a good experience. I'm delighted to say that the place is just as lovely under the new proprietor, Josiane. She and her husband could not have been more welcoming, and the food they served us was absolutely delicious. Merci Josiane. :-)

Positive: The location is beautiful, The property is beautiful and Sylvie was an absolute star, We arrived a little later than first anticipated and on arrival asked about restaurants in the area, the nearest was a few miles away and we asked if anything was available from herself, She was happy to cook for us.... a starter, main and dessert, at no notice and the food was fantastic. We were all so impressed and found the stay wonderful, I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone else. 10 out of 10.
Negative: This is not a complaint just there for information, The rooms are on the first floor and access is via a staircase and this would be problamatic for wheel chair users, but once upstairs there is ample room to move about freely.
Summary: Absolutley Marvelous, highly recommend.

Positive: We had a great stay at Au Did de Champs. It's such a peaceful and quiet location less than 30 minutes from the cathedral of Chartres. Sylvie was a great host and a great chef as well (we took her up on the dinner option). The room, reception area and entire property are extremely well maintained. I recommend staying here 100 per cent and we would definitely stay again.
