The 100 square meter, cottage-style holiday home is located on an Aussiedlerhof, 5 km from downtown Kaufbeuren.
Enjoy the view down to the city of Kaufbeuren and the Allgäu mountain range, behind which the Zugspitze massif rises gigantic. Above all, the sunrise and sunset with their variety of colors are a true natural spectacle.
The house furnished according to Feng Shui gives you a relaxed, cozy atmosphere - simply to feel good.
In the spacious living-dining area you can leave everyday life behind you or enjoy the sunset on the south-west terrace with a glass of wine.
In the separate kitchen is from the 4 burner stove incl. Oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine all available to prepare tasty meals. An additional old wood stove invites you to cook yourself a meal like in the 'good old days'.
There are three romantic bedrooms upstairs. One room with a box spring bed and two with two original farm beds each. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower / toilet and a separate guest toilet on the ground floor.
The rural surroundings invite you to go for long walks or bike rides. In winter you can use the cross-country ski run right in front of the house for cross-country skiing or skating. Meditation evenings are offered weekly.
The meditative place far away from the daily hustle and bustle invites you to relax and rest.

Summary: The farmhouse was wonderful! Peaceful, beautiful, and very comfortable. Angelica and her husband were delightful!! We would come again to stay for a week and relax!! It is very helpful to have your own car. You will be able to see so much more there locally. But, there is a bus stop not far away you can walk to and get to the train station. There are local car rental places you could use during your stay. This is a wonderful place to stay!

Summary: The cottage was absolutely charming, warm and cosy. Perfect for our family, and even had a beautiful decorated Christmas tree which our children appreciated very much. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was easy to prepare family meals including our Christmas dinner.

Summary: Five of us, all adults, had a very comfy two night stay. An ideal location with great sunrise and sunsets, on the second morning woke up to a hot air balloon setting off! Easy drive to the Romantisch Strasse and it's end at Fussen-well worth a visit! We are already planning when to return - hosts are really friendly and spoke great English (better than my German!!!).

Summary: My wife and two small children traveled from the states, wanting close access to Munich without missing the beauty of the German countryside. This was the perfect home. The owners live next door, but given the second entrance, privacy was not an issue. Further, the owners were among some of the friendliest and warm hosts we met on our vacation. The house is located about 10-20min drive from the nearest autobahn, through several small towns. It's a scenic drive but cumbersome if you plan on driving out of the area many times during the stay. I'd also point out mobile signals can be weaker in the lower lying areas around Kaufbeuren; however we received a decent signal on the farm. As many of the reviews for this home suggest, it's located on a large field surrounded by animals. A perfect location to allow your little ones to run freely. Kaufbeuren is about 10mins away with all necessary grocery, train, etc access. Munich is about 1 hr by rail. What's best is not Kaufbeuren, but the number of family businesses, including fresh cheese and meat producers, dotting the small towns near by. We spend around 4 days in Germany, but honestly could plan another few weeks exploring. To that point, the owners are very knowledgeable about local sights and events, recommend reaching out to them prior to your visit. The house itself is very rustic, well decorated, very clean and provided all basics we needed for the trip. There is a cute wood burning stove that wormed the house right up, large bedrooms upstairs for us and the kids (owner was also able to provide a pack n play for our infant), plenty of books and games, and of course, a very functional kitchen. Some of the best memories from our trip was sitting in front of the fire with my wife. I hope this post persuades you to visit. It's a lovely place and one we look forward to revisiting.
